Kulka wrote:the only one true statement in your post is that you are scared of this book, that i use for learning sorani. in fact i havent met any kurd till now, who will not be scared of that. believe me - my brothers at work run off when they see that. but as i can remember i got that (the link for the website) from RBK
as i could understood - this girl was 4 years in kurdistan, so of course she is better than me. i only remind you that i am kurdish for 2 years only and i didnt have a lot of chance to learn sorani in any proper way, thats why i am not better than she is. but thets right - she has funny accent - i didnt get used to hear kurdish language spoken that way - interesting.

Kulka, there is only one thing that i am not scared in life and that is books. i read, read and read so for sure i will be okey with that one too but i admit its one of the hard ones :D

Yes, she is a lecturer at the University of Kurdistan in Halwer and she speaks very good Kurdish with an american accent. But seriously, i think you can speak even better than her in the next two years. Also dont forget that you live in the UK not Kurdistan and that makes a big differences :D

List all the words and question you have, we will give it another go next time :D

I'll tell ya guys RIGHT now, Kulka's and that Christina girl from the Youtube video's kurdish is way better than mine. Mine is very "sak'at" :(

But then again I have no one to speak Kurdish with, I guess that's the problem. But my kids are gonna learn Kurdish, no doubt!

Yes man, i was very surprised when i first saw the video, she is an english-kurdish translator, can you believe it, it took her only 4 years... kulka and Christina's kurdish rock and roll... you need to see kulka's grammar and vocabulary, i am serious she is very good :D

hope my compliments wont make you stop learning kulka xan, pls try harder and ask what you like to know :D

Yes, the trick of learning any language is practicing and speaking it. Kak Bc, you need to find a Kurdish gf , there are lots of Kurds in sweden :D

Yeah and don't be afraid to let people correct you. If you want to learn, you'll have to be able to allow your self to say somethings wrong so people can correct, that way you'll learn :) Don't be shy!

i never stop learning and the words like that in fact make me to try harder (not to bring shame to myself and my country - kurdistan). so me and Kak BC have the same problem - i am not alone then. but some of my boys at work dont want to understand that sometimes kurdish dont know kurdish language, right? (like Kulka 8) - and a lot of our people from bakur).

kak Aram - next week i will do my homework and i will have more time for study - by the way - thank you for your time.
