They may need cleansing in salt water - rinsing well

and leaving on a windowsill in a waxing moon

J. K. Rowling, her of Harry Potter fame, started by producing audio books shortly after each book was released and I believe those were a great help

The audio books were word for word exactly the same as the books so that children would be encouraged to read along while listening to the audio books

It helped to get her books noticed and make her famous

The problem with Rowlings is that she swore to never write more than the 7 books of Harry Potter, but she does not seem able to leave definitely the series. So she makes a lot of "à-côtés", but not very convincing and useful. Perhaps it would better for her to stay in the universe she created. as Tolkien did.

I confess I have NEVER read or seen Harry Potter

I have seen bits of the films when round friend's homes and that is it
