Thank you, mademoiselle, much appreciated. So you can speak both Kurmanji and Sorani Kurdish? Is there any language course you know in London by any chance?

I can speak Kurmancî (quite fluently) and I understand soranî in a general meaning.

As I live in Paris area, I am not aware of Kurdish courses there, you should ask to Anthea, she is the Britton quota of the forum :-D

The Great Britain is here :ymparty:

There are Kurdish courses in different parts of London - which part is Ozgur interested in?

Learned a historical, sophisticated complex way to read I Ching. Very interesting.

I am longing of Kurdistan which is under snow now.

Today I had to write a program in Kurdish. I was funny.

I have just finished to read 'Montana 1948', a good novel.

I need an easy way to learn I Ching 8-}

Please show us a link to the program you wrote - I know several of us would LOVE to see it :ymhug:

It is on paper, a flyer for Kurdish visitors coming to Paris for a conference.

The easiest way to learn I Ching is at first to read a good translation of it. Wilhelm's translation is not so bad, but there are many by Chinese people now.

Osman Baydemir:

I recognise him - so much clutter in my home - I know that he gave me his business card with extra contact details on it - I am going to find it and tell him what I think of him :ymdevil:

I remember meeting him - have you ever met him?

If so what did you think of him?

I have met him in his office, in 2000 or 2001 I don't remember exactly he was not mayor at this time, only the chairman of Diyarbakir lawyers association. Mostly talked (in Kurdish) about refugees, human rights etc. He has not the reputation to be a blind 'apocî' and to be quite clever (if we compare with some other BDP representatives). But I don't know him personally.

The main detail I remember when I came in his office is that something very heavy should have fallen on his foot, for he had a correct city dress but under his desk we could see he wore sandals and one of his big toe had a huge bandage. So if you watch only his bust you could see an elegant urban lawyer, but if you lowered your eyes, the contrast was funny :-D

I wonder if I had not over reacted with someone… Might have been a mistake. Lions are too touchy :? :-\ X(

I found him to be rather arrogant - I am sad that he is involved in politics - more of a used car salesman =))

I hope that his foot hurt :ymdevil:

Well I suppose that after 13 years he has recovered a normal big toe.

That pic of Lion is exactly my own soul when I feel fire in my veins. I would like to learn the strength of wisdom and patience.

I have found many Kurdish political figures to be warm friendly caring people - all except the ones from Turkey 8-|

I wish I had fire in my veins - I am worn out studying Human Rights - Political Correctness - Freedom of Speech - and trying to beat you at Mah jong :ymdevil:

Today is Jane Austen's birthday and on the Huffington Post a paper explains why Mr Knightley is BETTER than Mr Darcy.

I can't be objective, I have always loved Knightley :-D
