Having had Kurdish friends for more than 30 years - I assure you that very few Kurdish ladies share their innermost thoughts with their husbands - many are even too ashamed or embarrassed to share their feeling with other Kurdish ladies in case anything gets back to their family

LOVE to gossip - give them an audience and their entire pent-up history comes flooding out - their hopes and fears - their happiness and sorrows - it all comes out - sadly in Kurdish culture men and women tend to life separate lives - a fact that even you cannot deny
