Why do these Assyrians, Chaldeans claim yezidis different

I really don't understand why these people are claiming Yezidis are different, I understand in Armenia some refuse to be called Kurds, but this is not the case in south Kurdistan.

1 - It's a campaign aimed at dividing our unity and impairing the Kurdish nation.
2 - Several historical Yezidi landmarks are located in their claimed territory. To claim that Yezidis are a seperate ethnicity instead of Kurdish would easen handling the issue for them.

I always say this, and thanks for info, but they always talk crap about how we "converted" to Islam and seperated. Its so stupid, they speak Kurdish for God's sake.
