Chew your food until it become a soup in your mouth. Tis is my experience. After reading 'the Enzyme Factor' by Dr H. Shinya, which discusses the benefits of chewing food a lot, I started doing it. The first benefit was that I got rid of my nose blocks, which was with me almost all my life. The immune power of saliva must have something to do with it. Because chewing a lot releases a lot of saliva, which is one of the 3000+ enzymes, we have inside our body.

I know that chewing a lot and eating slowly is good for many reasons : one of them is to let the time to your brain to feel your stomach is full, so you don't eat more than you need. And of course digestion is easier.

In any case I tried at my dinner to eat like that and it had a strange and unexpected effect : I sneezed many and many times without stoppig and so violently that my ribs hurt. Weird. Perhaps the infection virus, microbs or whoever) were expelled (hope, hope)

I misunderstood your post. I didn't know you were ill when you said you needed some thing for blocked nose. Because I used have blocked nose without being ill.

Chewing a lot for the first time has drawbacks. If it is a new experience for your body. Saliva is a sort of enzyme and enzyme production has only one source, which creates enzymes and change it for different purposes. Your chewing drew too much enzymes, which caused the stoppage of enzyme production temporary. Immune system also is an enzyme. When enzyme production stops, immune system also stops. The increased frequency of your sneezing can be explained by the stoppage of your immune system because of the stoppage of enzyme production.
