Yes and the video shows what Jesus Christ did for you and me. He took our punishment for our sins.

That is your oppinion and your belief.

I do not believe Jesus (p.b.u.h.) was crucified...

I am not Christian, so naturally I wouldn't share your oppinion on a line of matters...

I am a Christian, and don't believe he was crucified. As far as I know, there was no word in Greek to describe a cross. It is the word "stauros" which is used, which means "stake".
Just a little observation in the video, and in most films about Jesus: Jesus is portrayed as having long hair, when it was the custom to have it short. It also states in the Bible that it was shameful to have long hair. ("Does not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" I Corinthians 11:14). Most who profess to be Christian are really nothing more than pseudo Christians, who have never delved or sought out the truth in the Bible.

That is VERY interesting Lorri... I didn't know about the hair thing... Or the cross thing for that matter... The New Testament - which is the Christian Bible - was it first written in Greek?

What I find worrying about the Bible is not what language or how it was written... But the fact that it has been revised and altered over and over again in the years following Jesus' death and till only 40 years ago(?)...

The Tanakh and The Quran have not been altered since the first time written down...

It's like the Church has used what it "needed" to use in order to get controll of the people - and thrown the rest away...

The thing is, Islam teaches that before Jesus was crucified, and even before the so-called torture he went through (not sure Islam teaches anything like that, about torture I mean) anyway - before all that, according to The Quran God put a Jesus-lookalike (in e.g. somebody God created especially for taking Jesus' place on the cross) in Jesus' place... So the person who was crucified, was according to Islam, not Jesus' but a Jesus-lookalike...

And you know what is more strange than Jesus having long hair, Lorri? The fact that he is 99.99% of the time presented as a BLUE-EYED and BLOND man! Hilarious!

How can the Greek scriptures be the Christian Bible? I think I know what you mean, as in it was written after the death of Jesus; but from Genesis to Revelation it speaks of a savior (Jesus) coming to Earth. Also Jesus quoted many times the Hebrew scriptures. So, for a Christian to not acknowledge the WHOLE Bible, they can't be a Christian.

You write such long replies, and I hate typing..

The bug I have about Muslims believing in the Bible, is that they also take parts of it and disregard the rest!!! For instance: If Muslims believe that Abraham, Moses, and all the other prophets were God's, (Yawheh's) messengers/prophets, who spoke the truth; how can they deny that Jesus was the Messiah that was long awaited? After all, that's what the Bible was written for; to offer a once and for all sacrifice for mankind, as a ransom for the life lost in Eden, after Satan the Devil tempted Eve.

There is nowhere in the Bible that says a doppleganger was put in place of Jesus. Where did that come from???

The Bible has been revised, as other scriptures have been found, as far as I know. I read The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, which is the only Bible I'm aware of that puts back the name of God into the scriptures. It is translated from the original Hebrew and Greek.

Yes, funny how we should have Jesus depicted as "Northern European". LOLOL.

No see - it's not like that...

When I said "The New Testament was written in Greek" - I mean that the OLD Testament - which is the same as the JEWISH Tanakh - was written in Old Hebrew...

So:

New Testament = written in Greek
Old Testament = written in Hebrew

Both of these make up the "Christian Bible" - but the "Jewish Bible" is only the "Old Testament"...

The reason Muslims take bits and pieces is that Islam teaches: The Bible has been altered and can therefore not be trusted 100%. So we take what goes with Islamic teachings and the rest we don't trust.
For example nobody in Jesus' contemporary time called Jesus "Son of God" (estafullah) but in later time that has been added in newer versions of the Bible.

The matter of the "Messiah" - is very controversial... You see, Islam teaches that the "Messiah" was not Jesus, but Mohammed... This conclusion has been made on the fact that Jesus spoke of a man "not of this people" (in e.g. the "Jewish people")...

So that matter - of the Messiah is but a theological dispute...

You misunderstood me dear... I didn't say Bible said Jesus had a doppleganger, I said ISLAM TEACHES that Jesus was "changed out" with a look-alike... Somebody without other purpose - but to serve this one: being crucified...

Anyway... I think there is a lot to Christianity which the Church has been hiding... Like the Dead Sea Scrolls... And there is a rumour - that the "original Bible" - is hidden in the Vatikan State in Rome... It's "pure" and not altered... It contains the truth as opposed to the newer versions of the Bible; which have been altered...

Oh dear - If you had pressed "submit" (even though you'd already clicked "preview") it would have been posted...

Realy nice words... :)

It's like saying: Selam û eleykûm in Arabic! Which also means: Peace be with you... :D
