lol. I thought maybe sunni muslims would be happier if alevis stopped calling themselves muslims and decided for christians instead? a lot of sunni muslims I've talked to hold this kind of saying like, "we don't mind them doing this, but they're heretical so they shouldn't call themselves muslims". bs really. but anyways

who are alevis muslims?? r they the "ezidi" ummm don know how to spell it :!:

I never heard of that Jezus was a imam, but I know he is in the Quran. Doesn't the SHia muslims see the Alevi as Shia?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Alevi

It is believed that this path within Islam was taken when the Ottoman and Persian empires fought eachother from the 14- to the 20th century---

Much is still unclear... and it is hard to say that Alevi are anything BUT shia who have come under influence of other religions such as Ezidi/Yarsanism and other KURDISH religions...

I think Jews and Muslims attacked eachother, if you look to the history.
