I think Kurdish dervishes do it to Prove something or Test Something (their belief) but Shias do it just for Crying to reduce their sad feeling and motovate other shias to cry ...
in Iran shia mullahs say , Crying and Beating yourself for Imams , will Clean your Sins (Erotic Sins) , shia mullah says , if you had done Illegal Sex or looked at Girls ... you can clean it by Crying and Beating yourself...many ppl come to cry just for that .

As enemies they will harm you...

But if you befriend them - and neutralize them... You won't see much harm from them... As they would feel obliged to say and act good in your presence... Since you are to them a "good" person and act good to them...

If not befriending, you can at least show them respect and be as respectful with them as you want them to be with you... It won't hurt you... On the contrary...

Well, religion does not say directly that women are stupid or have less brain than men have but indirectly and at the same time more obvious it says women are stupid; examples are, ''Two women witness are equal to one man witness''!!! how you can explain that? are women liars? or stupid? or ignorant or what? It's clear that it is an obvious insult against women. or also by giving the right to men to have as much as women they like, 2,3,4 but not rcognizing such a right for women!, or hundreds other nonsense like this.
Also I don't care how some Al-Qaida or Ansar al-islam or Hizbollahi supporters think about me. I have no tendency to befriend them as I see them as enemies of humanity.
finally, I'm not against Syriacs/Assyrians/Arameans/Chaldeans as a people. but at the same time don't thank ulta-nationalists of them for the hatred they are spreading against their neighbours such as their real ally the Kurds; but I try to reply them by what I think is truth and logic.
I write my oponions not seeking befriending my enemies. A true and real befriending can be achieved through understanding eachother not ignoring facts and having a misconception about one another...

And that part about two female witnesses counting as one male witness is only true when two persons are gonna get married...

So when a couple is getting married - and they need two witnesses, they can have two men - one man and two women or four women...
