Well of course... If you read about Zerdesht at PERSIAN sites... They will say he was PERSIAN...

If you read about Zerdesht in Azeri sites - they will tell you he was AZERI...


Avestan is Pehlevî - which is todays Goranî-Dimilî-Hewramî-Zazakî-Kurmanckî...

avesta the book of the zoroasterians is in a language that is SO SO SO close to Hewrami .

you know Hewrami is a branch of Kurdish language, most of the words are used JUST in Hewrami langague (not in sorani and kirmanci) are also used in Avesta . and Hewrami peopel see themself more kurd than any other Kurd.

if you have ever heared the special music of Hewraman , which is called Sya çemane it was the way that zoroasterian relligous leaders prayed (something like Azan in Islam)

there are many secrets in Hewraman that historians and scientists should find them out.

Zerdesht - the Prophet of Zerdeshtî religion - was a Kurd... From same area as me...

in everything ive read it has never said the prophet zerdasht was a kurd, it says he was a persian, because their religious book is in farsi too.

The book of Zerdesht is Avesta. It was written in an old form of Hewramî Kurdish.

Sure! What types of samples are you looking for?

By the way, we know many who have studied Avesta. It is quite astonishing how close the Avestian texts are with Hewramî. If you know Hewramî fluently, there is no doubt with a little exposure, you will be able to fully understand it.

Also, another thing to note is... if you have ever listened to old Hewramî songs where there are no instruments but just singing, which is still popular in Kurdistan... the style of singing actually came from the way Zerdushts used to recite Avesta.

here is an easy sample , I think you will undrestand it:

tasey dûryeket kariş pêm kerden
westem le giyan , razîm we merden

missing you , has done such a thing to me
that I am tired from life and I rather die

Note : in hewrami there is no x , so Xeste would be Weste .
xane (meaning home) would be Yane

There are great differences in both words and sentence structure with Kurmancî, although the basic words between the two tend to be very similar. Hewramî is part of the Guranî family, and of course shares similarities in structure with Zazakî as I've mentioned before (similar to how Kurmancî shares similarities with Soranî in structure). (you've heard Zazakî before right?)

Just let people know..on the same site Mosul already mentioned, there is a complete translation of the Quran into Kurdish (kurmanji) through audio Its really helpful for those who dont attend islamic school or cant speak arabic or dont have a Kurdish Quran at home
