Hot wine recipe

There are many and many way to make a hot wine, but here is my own personal recipe :

Make simmer a cup of red wine in a pan (Not boiling, just simmering). Pour in it some sugar (more or less according to your taste), cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, lemongrass. If you have not all these spices, remember that cinnamon is the important one. You can put also orange or apple slices but not lemon (too acid).

When it is very hot, drink it in a cup or a bowl. Very efficient to warm you in winter.

As my astrological sign is Lion, my planet is the Sun and indeed, this time is the worst for me : I am always down, so I need comfort ;)
