TERRORIST ATTACK ON LONDON

Today as you must have heard - London was subject to 7 bombings... Six of the seven bomb explosions were in separate tube-stations in central London and one was on a double-decker bus.

The casualty number is not yet certain. It is belived that Islamist groups are behind the attacks which have created chaos in London.


I wonder - does the bombing have any connection to the election of London as host for 2012 OL...???

I don't think there is any connection... because it happens in a short time and these simultaneous attacks show that they have been prepared for a long time (at least one year ?).

I remember but I am not sure when exactly that one year ago, English services have stated that there was a high probability that London would be the target of islamists after Madrid.

Probably they hope that England, like Spain, withdraw its troops from Iraq. But I think they won't dot it. England is an obstinate country. Now they will stay in Iraq for 20 years

So no I don't think Frenchies did it... I believe there might be a small chance... Something as you say "planned" would take in acount the things that were going to happen - for example - the G8 meeting and that London was chosen as the OL host - they knew that the world media was going to focus on the UK so they took advantage of the situation... You know there have been accusations of mighty people buying the OL-host election votes... So I think there are many ways to percieve the situation...


On one side it seems less likely - as they MUST plan ahead to have 7 bombs explode simultaniously... And on the other hand they are likely to have planned for a grater impact than just another terror attack... Maybe they hope it will scare people into not going to the OL in London? Their obvious main goal is to hurt the UK in financial and social terms...
