Western countries, UN, ICRC do not react to torture, execution of Russian POWs

The Western countries, the UN, the OSCE or the ICRC have not yet reacted to monstrous torture and cruel executions of Russian prisoners of war by the Ukrainian army, head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev said.

According to him, the issue of the condition of Russian captured servicemen is the most critical one nowadays.

"The countries of the so-called ‘civilized West,’ the United Nations, the OSCE, the International Committee of the Red Cross as well as other international human rights organizations, displaying complete indifference to humanitarian issues initiated by the Russian Federation, to date, have not reacted in any way to statements by the Russian side about monstrous torture and cruel executions of Russian prisoners of war," said Mizintsev, who heads Russia’s Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

He noted that, given multiple facts of the gross violations of the Geneva Convention supported by documents which testify to the inhumane treatment of the Russian prisoners of war, Russia undertakes every effort to give the world real truthful information about the atrocities of the Kiev regime.

"To this end, all reports on the crimes of the Ukrainian army and nationalist battalions are carefully documented and digests are sent to the international organizations, including the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the OSCE and the embassies of foreign countries," the military official emphasized.

When in Lugansk in late March, I saw this photo exhibition displaying just a fraction of the crimes Ukraine has committed against civilians in the Donbass republics. This is, of course, only a very limited selection of Ukraine's war crimes. For a more detailed look at Ukraine's crimes against the people of the Donbass republics and also against Ukrainians within Ukraine, see:

https://democracyfund.ru/userfiles/Uk...

FOUNDATION FOR THE STUDY OF DEMOCRACY

In 2016, our book Ordinary Fascism: [War] Crimes of Ukrainian Armed Forces (2014–2016) was published

Unfortunately, over the past four years, crimes and human rights violations committed by the Ukrainian regime have not only become widespread but have become an integral part of power in Ukraine.

The ideology of the current Ukrainian government is based on a bizarre combination of Russophobiapolicies to combat the Russian language, create an atmosphere of hatred toward the Russian culture and Russians.

Thy glorify Nazi collaborators, including those recognized as such at the Nuremberg Trials, who have become official heroes of modern Ukraine (with celebration of state holidays on their birthdays).

Ukraine is renaming streets, and creating state museums and monuments in the honor of Nazi heroes and whose biographies are studied in schools and universities, as well as to proclaim the European and Euro-Atlantic policy of Ukraine (the latter is laid down in the preamble to the country’s Constitution).

This ideology is implemented violently by killing, beating, and torturing residents of Donbass, opposition politicians, and journalists through numerous Ukrainian “Death Squads”, censorship and mass violations of freedom of speech imposed in the country, banning the dissident
media, arrests of journalists, persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, etc.

One photo shows Nazi graffiti left on walls—similar to what I saw in Gaza in January 2009, graffiti left by Israeli soldiers who occupied the home of a Palestinian family, half of which were killed by Israeli-fired White Phosphorous. One of the slogans written in Hebrew was: “Next time it will hurt more.” This, to the family whose infant had burned alive due to the White Phosphorous bombing and whose surviving family members were badly mutilated from the prohibited weapon.

The horrors of Ukrainian attacks on the people Donbass are well known and well documented

Bombing in Kramatorsk by Ukraine

On Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that reports had dropped evidence that indicated that Ukraine's armed forces are liable for striking a railway station in Kramatorsk with a Tochka-U missile

The Ministry said that this inhumane move confirmed that the objectives behind the Russian special military operation were justified. The Ministry released a statement "cold-bloodedly and cynically destroying the civilian population, Kiev is trying to shift the responsibility to the Russian side in order to discredit the special military operation to protect the DPR and LPR."

"Evidence of the responsibility of the armed forces of Ukraine is obvious: it is they who are armed with and use the Tochka-U missiles, the fragments of which were found at the site of the tragedy. Such inhuman actions of the Kiev regime confirm the validity of the goals of the special military operation to demilitarize and de-Nazify Ukraine," read the statement
Russian authorities said that the Ukrainian armed forces carried out the shelling of the railway station in Kramatorsk on April 8. "A similar barbaric act of aggression was committed by the armed forces of Ukraine on March 14 of this year, when, a strike by a similar Tochka-U missile in the center of Donetsk killed 17 people and wounded another 36 people," added the Ministry said.

"In both cases, the target of the shelling was not accidental: the Kiev regime seeks to maximize civilian casualties. Killing them in Donbass over the past eight years has become a routine for the Ukrainian military units," it reads.

Russia's FM hopes that Ukraine's military forces will not be allowed to evade responsibility for the shelling of civilians in Kramatorsk. "We are confident that the Kiev authorities will not be able to evade responsibility," told the Ministry. "We call on the international community to give an unbiased assessment of the crimes of Ukrainian units, stop supplying them with weapons and encourage Kiev to abandon unacceptable methods of warfare."

Germany is walking into economic crisis

Germany's most prominent economic institutes are warning that an immediate end to Russian energy imports would lead Germany to a "sharp recession" next year

Berlin, although highly dependent on Russian gas, has resisted calls for a European boycott as a response to the situation in Ukraine.

If Russia or Germany were to close the taps this month, Germany's economic growth will be limited to only 1.9%, and this will push the European superpower into a recession by 2023. Thus, the economy will shrink by 2.2%, according to the predictions.

Germany will not rise above the impact of a Russian gas boycott any time within the next two years, according to DIW, Ifo, IfW Kiel, IWH, and RWI.

Without any boycott of Russian gas, the series of current events in Europe are already slowing down Germany's recovery from the sustained economic losses of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the institutes.

Before February 24, a third of German oil imports, 45% of coal purchases, and 55% of gas imports came from Russia.

On Sunday, Crimea's representative in Russia's lower house of parliament, Mikhail Sheremet, has urged that Moscow restrict gas supplies to European Union member countries.

In an interview for Sputnik, Sheremet stated that the EU is "continuing its disrespectful and humiliating policy towards Russia. In response to their unfriendly actions, I think we should respond with tough sanctions – temporarily halt energy supplies until the European counterparts realize that an aggressive policy towards Russia is harmful and punishable."

He added that the EU, by choosing the US as its "best friend", made a "fatal mistake"

According to the European Commission, Russia's gas imports to the EU in 2021 amounted to nearly 45% of gas, 27% of crude oil, and 46% of coal

On Wednesday, 1,026 members of the Ukrainian 36th Marine Brigade surrendered in Mariupol. Among them were 162 officers, 47 servicewomen, and 151 wounded soldiers.

The Russia-Ukraine military conflict continues without the parties having managed to reach effective agreements to achieve an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

U.S.-funded Ukrainian labs were engaged in developing components of biological weapons. The activities conducted by the United States and its allies near the Russian borders "were not aimed at searching for effective means of protection against dangerous diseases or cooperating with the international community," Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said.

"Work there was carried out behind closed doors. In fact, components of biological weapons were developed and pathogenic microorganisms were studied that have posed a threat to all mankind," he stressed.

"Therefore, we consider such activities as a whole absolutely unacceptable both in Ukraine and other countries surrounding us," he said, adding that such activities should be transparent and under control
...........................................

To me the mere fact that those biolabs were not considered safe enough to have on US soil proves they were considered a threat

NATO wants more war instead of peace

The US-led NATO military alliance has made it clear that it is willing to fight to the last Ukrainian in order to bleed Russia and advance Western geopolitical interests

In a shockingly blunt admission, The Washington Post acknowledged that some NATO member states want "Ukrainians to keep fighting, and dying" in order to prevent Russia from making political gains.

In an April 5 report on peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, the major US newspaper disclosed that NATO is afraid that Kiev may give in to some of Moscow's demands.

The Washington Post wrote explicitly: "For some in NATO, it’s better for the Ukrainians to keep fighting, and dying than to achieve a peace that comes too early or at too high a cost to Kyiv and the rest of Europe."

Anonymous Western diplomats emphasized that "there are limits to how many compromises some in NATO will support to win the peace," and that they would rather prolong the war in Ukraine if they can prevent Russia from having its security concerns met
The newspaper said that NATO members are desperate not to give "Russian President Vladimir Putin any semblance of victory," and are more than willing to force Ukrainians into the meat grinder to do so.

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan noted that the administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is closely coordinating with Washington, and is in "near-daily contact" with the White House. It is evident who is really in charge.

The newspaper likewise revealed that the US military has more than 100,000 troops deployed in Europe.

The Washington Post has a close relationship with the US government. The newspaper is owned by $200-billionaire Jeff Bezos, one of the richest human beings in history.

Bezos is also the founder and executive chairman of mega-corporation Amazon, which has tens of billions of dollars worth of contracts with the CIA, Pentagon, NSA, FBI, ICE, and other US government agencies.

If The Washington Post is disclosing this information about NATO, with quotes from senior White House officials, it clearly got the green light from its handlers in Washington.

This report is a semi-official confirmation that NATO sees Ukrainians as mere cannon fodder in its imperial proxy war on Russia.

In fact, some Western officials have stated this openly.

A former senior State Department official, hard-line right-wing war hawk Eliot A. Cohen, boasted in an article in The Atlantic magazine that the "United States and its NATO allies are engaged in a proxy war with Russia."

He effused proudly, "They are supplying thousands of munitions and hopefully doing much else—sharing intelligence, for example—with the intent of killing Russian soldiers," adding, "the more and faster the better."
The State Department veteran declared that the "stream of arms going into Ukraine needs to be a flood."

This is exactly what NATO member states are doing: flooding Russia's neighbor with weapons.

Instead of supporting peace talks with Russia, the United States and European Union have been actively escalating the war, sending Ukraine billions of dollars worth of weapons, including tens of thousands of anti-tank missiles, thousands of anti-aircraft missiles, and hundreds of kamikaze drones, as well as tanks and armored vehicles
What goes unmentioned is how US and European arms corporations have heavily profited from the war. The stocks of private military contractors skyrocketed after Russia sent its troops into Ukraine on February 24, as Western governments pledged to substantially increase their military expenditure.

The Joe Biden administration immediately delivered $350 million in weapons in late February, before pledging an additional $13.6 billion in aid for Ukraine in March, of which $6.5 billion in military support.

The foreign ministers of NATO met at the military alliance's headquarters in Brussels on April 6 and 7 and pledged to escalate the war in Ukraine even further.

The Western politicians were joined by representatives of several non-NATO members, including Japan, South Korea, Georgia, Finland, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba traveled to Brussels for the meeting, where he dispelled any doubt that NATO wants more war instead of peace.

"I came here today to discuss three most important things: weapons, weapons, and weapons," Kuleba summarized.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg similarly declared, "After the invasion, allies stepped up with additional military support, with more military equipment, and it was a clear message from the meeting today that allies should do more and are ready to do more to provide more equipment, and they realize and recognize the urgency."

Stoltenberg boasted that direct NATO military support for Ukraine goes back to 2014 and that tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were trained by NATO in the past eight years, long before Russia invaded.

NATO transparently prefers that Ukrainians keep sacrificing their lives in hopes of weakening and destabilizing Russia.

Meanwhile, Ukrainians who think peace should be the solution, not more war, face dire consequences.

A Ukrainian negotiator who had participated in peace talks with Russia, Denys Kyreyev, was murdered, reportedly by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), which is notorious for being influenced by neo-Nazis and other far-right extremists.

All of this extreme violence and warmongering flies directly in the face of NATO's claim to be a supposed "defensive" alliance.

The reality is NATO has never been devoted to defense, let alone democracy. Among the military alliance's founding members in 1949 was the fascist dictatorship of Portugal.

During the first cold war, NATO supported former Nazi collaborators and fascists in its infamous Operation Gladio. With NATO support, far-right extremists carried out terrorist attacks in Europe to try to repress the left-wing, especially during Italy's notorious Years of Lead.

When the first cold war ended, NATO continued to expand onto Russia's borders, repeatedly violating promises made by the United States, Britain, and France that the military alliance would not move "one inch eastward" after the reunification of Germany in 1990.

In bombing campaigns in the 1990s, NATO destroyed and carved up the former Yugoslavia, which no longer exists as a country.

Then NATO helped the United States launch its war in Afghanistan in 2001, and maintained a joint military occupation until 2021.

In 2011, NATO waged war on Libya, the most prosperous country in Africa. The Western military campaign shattered Libya's state. Foreign fossil fuel corporations soon pillaged the North African nation's massive oil reserves.

Still today, in 2022, Libya has no unified central government. It does, however, have open-air slave markets for Sub-Saharan African refugees.

The ruins of Libya, Afghanistan, and former Yugoslavia show what NATO truly offers the world.

And the US-led military alliance is now prepared to sacrifice Ukraine to advance the interests of Washington and Wall Street.

Beijing will not join unilateral sanctions

Some foreign companies violate principles of market interaction and put pressure on Chinese enterprises demanding to ‘choose sides’, China will take the necessary measures and firmly defend the legitimate rights of its companies

Shu Jueteng clarified that Beijing will not tolerate firms from any country threatening China's enterprises. She also noted that the Chinese side will be led by the generally accepted international rules and will contribute to strengthening the global free-trade system.

Racism behind focus on Ukraine

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus uses his platform to criticize the West for the attention it has been giving Ukraine as other nations and regions in the world suffer the same if not worse circumstances

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has criticized the international community's focus on the war in Ukraine instead of other crises ravaging the world, citing the crisis in his home country, Ethiopia.

He attributed the discrepancies in the attention given to crises around the world to pigmentation, saying the world might have been giving the war in Ukraine more attention because the people affected by the crisis in Ethiopia were not white while their Ukrainian counterparts were.

Tedros did not only cite his home country, for he went on to question whether the world really gave "equal attention to Black and white lives," going on to count the crises ravaging Yemen, Afghanistan, and Syria, which he said garnered only a "fraction" of the concern for Ukraine.

Last month, Tedros said there was "nowhere on Earth where the health of millions of people is more under threat" than the Tigray region of Ethiopia
According to the health official and ethnic Tigrayan, about 2,000 trucks of humanitarian aid should have reached the region, bringing in food, medicines, and other essentials to the conflict-stricken area, but only 20 have made it, he told a virtual press briefing from Geneva on Wednesday.

"As we speak, people are dying of starvation," he highlighted adding that what the Tigray region was undergoing was "one of the longest and worst sieges by both Eritrean and Ethiopian forces in modern history."

He did not deny the global significance of the Ukraine war, though he used his platform to ask whether other crises were being given enough attention as the world seemed to ignore many catastrophes the world has been undergoing for decades.

"I need to be blunt and honest that the world is not treating the human race the same way [...] some are more equal than others," he reiterated.

He also went on to say the media had failed to document much of what had happened in the region, accusing it of not taking the situation seriously altogether.

The attention the media has been giving to Ukraine has been subject to criticism from Russia too, with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov saying the Western media was trying to dissolve the situation in Ukraine with demagogic reasoning.

The issue at hand at the time was in Bucha, a town in Ukraine that was the focal point of footage published by Kiev it claimed showed evidence of crimes committed by the Russian armed forces, which Moscow's defense ministry described as yet another provocation.

Western media was not only silent on the Russian narrative, but it was also ignoring facts on the ground, such as Russia's forces being out of the town long before the violence took place
They spread the footage and news on the matter like wildfire, but Russia had proof it had no hand in the matter. This situation went to show that Western media was willing to propagate news about Ukraine so much so that it did not mind there being disinformation or twisting of facts so long as it put Ukraine in the spotlight, all the while ignoring true facts about crimes being committed all around the globe.

This is not the first time that racism has been brought up with regard to how the West is treating the war in Ukraine; another racist aspect that was brought up was how the entirety of Europe opened its doors to Ukrainian refugees while closing the door to others from other ethnicities and conflict or crisis-stricken regions around the world.

Sweden far-right anti-Islam rally

The demonstrations are in response to an anti-Islam event organized by the Danish far-right Stram Kurs party.

Sweden sees third night of unrest after anti-Islam rally
Stram Kurs, is an anti-Islam and anti-immigration group (Reuters)
On Saturday, southern Sweden had another night of disturbance as a result of an anti-Islam far-right political party's plans to burn a Qur'an, the holy book of Islam.

According to police, up to 100 people, mostly youth, threw stones, set fire to cars, tires, and garbage cans, and erected a barrier fence in the town of Landskrona after authorities moved a demonstration planned there by the Danish party Stram Kurs to the nearby city of Malmö, about 45 km to the south.

Landskrona had cooled down by late Saturday but remained tense, according to police, who added that no injuries had been recorded in the incident.

Kim Hild, a police spokeswoman in southern Sweden, stated earlier on Saturday that authorities would not rescind authorization for the Landskrona rally organized by the party Stram Kurs since the free-speech threshold in Sweden is relatively high.

The demonstrators' freedom "to demonstrate and speak outweighs enormously, heavily and it takes an incredible amount for this to be ignored," Hild told Swedish news agency TT.

Since Thursday, confrontations have been reported in Stockholm, Linkoping, and Norrkoping - all places where Stram Kurs has planned or had rallies.

On Friday evening, violent skirmishes occurred between protestors and counter-protesters in the central Swedish city of Orebro, ahead of Stram Kurs' plan to burn a Qur'an there, injuring 12 police officers and torching four police vehicles.

Video and images from Orebro's chaotic events showed burning police cars and demonstrators throwing stones and other things at riot police personnel.

Rasmus Paludan, the head of Stram Kurs, spoke to a few dozen people at a rally in Malmö's central park on Saturday. A few counter-protesters hurled stones, prompting police to deploy pepper spray to disperse them.

Stram Kurs, or Hard Line, was founded in 2017 by Paludan, a Danish lawyer with Swedish citizenship. It promotes an anti-Islam and anti-immigration view.

Recap:

I have known about the problems in Donbass for many years

The Donbass region of Ukraine is similar to the Kurdish region in ALL countries

The Ukrainian government banned the centuries old Russian culture, language, clothing, music and everything Russian from Donbass and used right wing NAZIS within the Ukraiian military, to attack, rape, torture and slaughter thousands within Donbass

For many years the people asked the International Community for HELP

How well has the world protected Kurds from Syria, Iran and Turkey, thought they did step in to save Kurds from Saddam Husein

Or did they !?!

If Saddam had not wanted to set up his own Oil Bourse, I doubt the US would have intervened

How well has the world protected the Yazidis X(

NO Kurd should ever support Ukraine:

Because of the similarities between the way people in Donbass have been treated

Because Ukraine is well known and well documented as being a training ground for NAZIS
Never forget the Ukrainian Biolabs that now appears to have had some connection to Covid 19 before anyone else had even heard the name

Never forget that the US makes money from war

The US is on the point of collapse and is trying desperately to find a cause to unite it's people

US housing market is on the verge of collapse

Inflation is skyrocketing

Americans are becoming angry with all the money US is sending to Ukraine

Racism is on the increase

41% of New Yorkers want to move away due to gun violence

Child pornography is on the increase

People extremely angry about the influx of illegals and drugs from the south

The biggest problem in the US now, is that NOBODY knows who is actually running the country

Americans make fun of Biden as he often looks confused and clearly does not know what he is doing and White House has to frequently apologize for mistakes he has made

Nationalists Urged to Surrender

The Russian government on Sunday urged Ukrainian nationalist battalions present in the city of Mariupol to lay down their arms and cease hostilities as of 06.00 Moscow time

The announcement was made by the head of the Russian Federation's National Defense Control Center, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, according to the official Russian Tass news agency.

"Russia guarantees to each of the surrendered [...] to respect all the norms of the Geneva Convention regarding the treatment of prisoners of war, as already happened with their comrades who had surrendered earlier in Mariupol" stressed the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the humanitarian measure was taken given the situation faced by Ukrainian nationalists at the Azovstal metallurgical plant located in the port of Mariupol.

Mizintsev said that militants of nationalist formations that are surrounded in Mariupol have requested permission from Kiev to lay down their weapons, but in response they receive threats of execution from Ukrainian military commanders.

He also added that Ukrainian fighters and foreign mercenaries are in a desperate situation, practically without food and water.

The Russian military agency informed that the request for cessation of hostilities and surrender of the nationalist battalions will be forwarded to the UN, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the International Committee of the Red Cross and other international organizations.

60 Years On Cuba Celebrates
Bay of Pigs Triumph

During the ceremony, floral offerings were placed at the obelisk that evokes the 156 fallen six decades ago from the Cuban side, on behalf of the people, Army General Raul Castro, President Miguel Díaz-Canel, and the Councils of State and Ministers

A speech was given by the secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the municipality of Ciénaga de Zapata, Bienvenido Roig, who stressed that the heroes of that heroic deed "will be reborn in the new generations," will never be forgotten.

"Our heroic people face challenges caused by the genocidal blockade policy of the United States against the country, the world economic situation, and the COVID-19 pandemic, but they will come out ahead with unity and the willingness to defend the socialist homeland," he stressed.

The ceremony was held in the outdoor areas of the local museum, a facility where the poor living conditions of the inhabitants of this region before 1959, the progress achieved in these six decades, and abundant material on the failed landing are displayed.

Playa Giron, a coastal town located in the south of the western province of Matanzas and about 220 kilometers southeast of Havana, was the last stronghold of the invaders (the so-called 2506 Brigade), defeated in less than 72 hours.

Girón is located in the Zapata Swamp, the largest wetland of the insular Caribbean, scene of those battles, which transcended as the first great military defeat of the United States in America and a significant page in the history of Cuba.

The invasion began in the early morning of April 17, 1961, at Playa Larga, in the upper arc of the Bay of Pigs, and at Playa Giron, on the right flank of the bay.

After bloody battles that began that day, the Cuban forces, led by the historic leader Fidel Castro from the scene of the events, crushed the attack and liberated Playa Giron, the last enemy stronghold, on April 19.

The attacking force suffered 88 dead and 1,197 prisoners, while on the Cuban side, 156 combatants fell with an undetermined number of wounded.

The Cenaguero territory, where the battles took place, symbolizes Cuba's decision to determine its own destiny, the participants recalled.

Those of you who have been following this thread we understand the significance but I will give short recap for those who do not know what the Bay Pigs Invasion was:

The Bay of Pigs Invasion was a failed landing operation on the southwestern coast of Cuba in 1961 by Cuban exiles who opposed Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution, covertly financed and directed by the U.S. government
Given Cuba’s geographical proximity to the United States and brought Cuba into play as a new and significant factor in the Cold War. In March 1960, President Dwight D. Eisenhower directed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to develop a plan for the invasion of Cuba and overthrow of the Castro regime.

Following his election in November 1960, President John F. Kennedy learned of the invasion plan, concluded that Fidel Castro was a Soviet client posing a threat to all of Latin America and, after consultations with his advisors, gave his consent for the CIA-planned clandestine invasion of Cuba to proceed.

The failed invasion annoyed Castro ans strengthened the position of Castro’s administration, which proceeded to openly proclaim its intention to adopt socialism and pursue closer ties with the Soviet Union. It also led to a reassessment of Cuba policy by the Kennedy administration. The President established a committee under former Army Chief of Staff General Maxwell Taylor and Attorney General Robert Kennedy to examine the causes of the defeat suffered at the Bay of Pigs.

Following America's attempts to destroy Castro, Russia was invited by Castro to support Cuba but America found it unacceptable to have Russian missiles based so close to it's borders made such a fuss that Russia, being an honorable nation, pull out of Cuba

Salient Points

America would NOT allow Russian weapons so close to it's borders

    YET

America and NATO have broken the agreement NOT to move NATO any closer to Russian borders
Further Points

America is funding Biolabs in Ukraine, it denied that but eventually admitted to it due to the fact that America's support of Biolabs had been extremely well documented over the years

Neo-Nazis in Ukraine, another thing America tried to hide but some years ago many in congress attempted to have Azov (one of the Nazi Groups) registered as a terrorist organisation
More Points

The Donbass region of Ukraine was promised a certain amount of autonomy by the centeral Ukrainian government

    BUT

Instead of self-government Donbass has been under attack by Ukrainian Nazis for YEARS
If you are asking yourselves if America would knowingly support Nazis:

Operation Paperclip was a secret United States intelligence program in which more than 1,600 Nazi German scientists, engineers, and technicians were taken from former Nazi Germany to the U.S. for government employment after the end of World War II in Europe, between 1945 and 1959. Conducted by the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA), it was largely carried out by special agents of the U.S. Army's Counterintelligence Corps (CIC). Many of these personnel were former members, and some were former leaders, of the Nazi Party
Who is Responsible for conflict in Ukraine?

Join the dots:

NATO breaks agreement not to move closer to Russia ... US lied about having Biolabs close to Russian border ... US is supporting a government containing Nazi regiments ... US is paying BILLIONS for anti Russian propaganda ... US has many internal difficulties and thought that by funding the Ukrainian conflict the American people would support their government ...

Europe Won't Last a Week Without Russian Gas

On April 22, the Ukrainian conflict continues without the parties being able to agree on a definitive ceasefire. Meanwhile, Russian troops have begun drawing the entire English alphabet on their vehicles in response to Western bans on displaying the letters Z and V. =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) =))

Below are the main developments of this conflict as they happen.

Medvedev believes that Europe won't last a week without Russian gas.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, believes that Europe will not be able to do without Russian gas for a long time.

"The European Commission has allowed gas payments in rubles and believes that European businesses can still apply the Russian president's decree," he wrote on Saturday night on his Telegram channel.

"We appreciate the consistency and integrity of our European partners.... Especially since, according to the latest IMF data, Europe will be able to do without our gas for no more than six months," he said
The day before, the European Commission confirmed that it saw in Russia's proposed mechanism for paying for gas supplies ways to circumvent EU sanctions, but at the same time believes that EU companies can find a legal way to pay for supplies even in the new realities.

The published explanations of the EC note that under the new scheme, Russia will have complete control over the transfer of dollars or euros into rubles and thus will be able to connect to the Central Bank, which is prohibited by the EU sanctions. At the same time, the document says that companies can still use the new mechanism without violating sanctions if they ask "their Russian counterparts to fulfill their contractual obligations in the same way as before the new decree, that is, by simply transferring the required amount in dollars or euros.

At the same time, the European Commission advises companies to find out from their Russian counterparts whether this is really possible.

Earlier, the Western media reported, citing sources, that the European Commission presented to the member states an analysis of the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin to pay for gas supplies from Russia in rubles and warned that its implementation would violate sanctions against Moscow.

UN chief to discuss ways to ‘silence guns’ in Ukraine during Moscow visit - spokesperson

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres intends to discuss ways "to silence the guns" in Ukraine during his visit to Moscow on April 26, Associate Spokesperson for the UN chief Eri Kaneko said at a briefing.

"His message will be, as he said in his letter, it’s - he wants to discuss with the [Russian] leadership what steps can be taken right now in order to silence the guns, in order to help the people, in order to allow people who need to get out to get out in safe passage," she pointed out.

While in Moscow, Guterres will hold a working meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and will also be received by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On April 19, the UN secretary general sent letters to the Russian and Ukrainian permanent missions to the United Nations, requesting meetings with the two countries’ presidents in their respective capitals. According to the UN chief’s spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, "the secretary general said, at this time of great peril and consequence, he would like to discuss urgent steps to bring about peace in Ukraine and the future of multilateralism based on the Charter of the United Nations and international law.".

Twenty DPR servicemen killed, 119 suffer wounds in past week - militia official

Twenty service members from the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) were killed in fighting against Ukrainian nationalists in the past week, Deputy Chief of the DRP People’s Militia Eduard Basurin said.

"We are sorry to report that 20 defenders of the DPR were killed in fighting against UKrainian nationalists in the past week and another 119 suffered wounds," he said, according to a statement posted on the DPR militia’s Telegram channel.

Basurin specified that the Ukrainian military had fired over 100 munitions at the DPR territory in the past day. The attacks involved 122 mm BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 122 mm artillery pieces, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. Five settlements came under fire, two homes were damaged. At the same time, DPR forces killed 27 Ukrainian nationalists, destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle and two armored personnel carriers.

Russia aims at full control of Donbass. One of the tasks of the Russian Armed Forces during the ongoing second stage of the special military operation is to "establish full control over Donbass and southern Ukraine," Deputy Commander of Russia's Central Military District Rustam Minnekaev said Friday.

The control of Donbass will make it possible for Russia to create a land corridor to Crimea and influence Ukraine's vital facilities, including Black Sea ports where agricultural and metallurgical products are delivered to other countries, Minnekaev said at a defense industries meeting.

The control of Ukraine's south will open another way out to Transnistria, the major general added.

Russia assures that the situation in Mariupol has normalized. On Friday, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov claimed that the inhabitants of Mariupol "now have the possibility to move freely through the streets without hiding from the bombing of the Ukrainian Nazis."

"The authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic are organizing the cleaning of debris from the streets and the removal of affected Ukrainian military equipment," he pointed out, adding that Russia is currently delivering humanitarian aid to the inhabitants.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers, neo-Nazis from the Azov battalion, and foreign mercenaries "are safely blocked in the area of the Azovstal metallurgical factory," Konashenkov claims. On Thursday night, however, Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky said that Mariupol "continues to resist, despite everything."

Meanwhile in Donbass:

UN Secretary Antonio Guterres will meet President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. On April 26, he will also have a working meeting and lunch with Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov, said Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for Guterres.

Previously, on Thursday afternoon, the UN Secretary sent separate letters to the permanent missions of Russia and Ukraine to the UN, asking Putin to receive him in Moscow and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to receive him in Kiev.

"The Secretary said, at this time of great peril and consequence, he would like to discuss urgent steps to bring about peace in Ukraine and the future of multilateralism based on the Charter of the United Nations and international law," said Dujarric.

China refutes U.S. official's remarks on Ukraine issue. On Friday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian refuted a U.S. official's remarks that China should learn the right lessons from the situation in Ukraine, including that it can't separate the United States from its allies.

"China's position on the Ukraine issue is aboveboard, just, objective and beyond reproach. On the contrary, it is the U.S. side that has a poor track record on relevant issues.

We advise the U.S. side to look in the mirror and properly manage its own affairs before pointing fingers at others," Zhao said, pointing out that the remarks made by U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman are entirely cliches and an old trick to smear and slander China.

Perhaps I will start a thread on funny fake news =))

The above photo is purportedly the result of a Russian bomb on the Ukraine

This so-called bomb which was powerful enough to overturn several vehicles:

Failed to damage the structure of the building

Even failed to damage any windows in the building

Not so much as a crack in any of the windows

Failed to damage any of the rendering on the building

Not a single mark or chip on of the building

The cars were dented but no sign of explosive damage

None of the tyres were damaged

Only had one soldier and a group of children to show how dangerous the area was
Their propaganda machine is becoming sloppy =))
