In the Middle East, the battle between the Sunnis and Shiites has been going on for quite some time. With one and a half billion Muslims in the world, it is extremely unlikely that they are ALL involved. In fact, this age-old conflict isn't even about religion.

Sunni and Shia Muslims have enormous conflicts, but the differences between them are frequently misunderstood. The split in Islam after the death of Muhammad is examined, the influence of Ayatollahs, and the political map that is broken down along Shia/Sunni lines are all looked at in this explanation of the wedge in the Muslim world:

There are three major factors, which cause Shiite and Sunni conflict.

1- Historical feud
2-Racism
3- Sex-culture

The third caliph, Othman bib Affan, was killed on hands of of the fourth Caliph, Ali
Bib Abu Talib, supporters. Both belonged to different Arab tribes. After the murder of Othman
Bin Affan, Ali bin Abu Talib became a fourth Caliph. An influential close relative of Othman bin Affan, called Muaawia, declared mutiny again Ali and took Damascus as his capital. Later Ali was murdered. This helped Muaawia to establish Amewyat state, which lasted for a few hundred years.

During this time another family related to the prophet Muhammed created a secret movement, which was known as a 'Call' and spread among none Arab speaking parts of Iraq and Iran. A Kurd
known as 'Abu Muslim Khorasany, was in charge of the Call movement with an authority to kill any one spoke Arabic in the area to prevent any disclosure of the movement. Later Abu Muslim Khorasany succeeded to destroy Amewyat State. After that a new Islamic state established rulled by Abbasite Family, close relatives of the Prophit.

After that none Arabs became in charge of the Abbasite new Islamic State because Abbasite family didn't trust Arabs. These none Arabs were mainly Persians and later Persians all converted to Shiite Sect of Islam. Here you have it. A sunnie Amewyat Arab State destroyed by none Arabs, whom Arabs considered Persians and Persians later became Shiites. To make the matter worst when Abbasite State destroyed on the hand Moghols, Sunnie Arabs accused Shiite clerks helping Moghols to Baghdad and destroy Abbassite Sunnie Islamic state. So from here the conflict took
a racist dimension, mainly Arabs started hating persians for casusing to destroy Sunnie Arab Islamic states twice.

Sunnie Arab sex culture is very strict. You can have sex only in married life of a man and a woman. Any one doesn't adhere to this sex culture, despised and hated. Shiite sex culture is more liberal. Temporary marriages allowed even for an hour and homosexuality tolerated. A Lebanese Shiite clerk gave a fatwa about homosexuality; He said: 'It is quite all right for two men to play with the piece of meat between their legs.

So what!!! we may not agree with prostitution on our own moral grounds but it is some thing you can not do anything about it. It is the oldest profession. It is better to legalise it to put it under control because of health and prevent crimes.

My dislike of prostitution has nothing to do with morals

I have never met a happy prostitute but I have rescued some very unhappy girls from the clutches of very nasty pimps

One girl was kidnapped from a party in Brixton while I was there:

We spent several days looking for her then we found her - she had been thrown out of a moving car

The girl had been beaten - raped - drugged - had her address book stolen and was told that if she refused to work for the pimp everyone in her address book would be beaten or worse

He then went to her parents pretending to be a youth worker concerned abut her taking drugs - he just wanted to prove to the girl that she was not safe anywhere and he would follow her even to her own home

The poor girl was so frightened that she did work for him until I stopped it

When I was much younger and braver I rescued many girls from pimps

I met one pimp who treated his stable of girls so well that girls kept pleading with him to take them on and protect them from other pimps

There was a hierarchy of pimps in London and all the small-time pimps wanted to have lots of girls so that they could move up to the big-time

You might wonder how I survived going to places that many a grown man feared to tread

As this was more than 20 years ago I will reveal my secret:

One of the nastiest - meanest - most violent - vicious Jamaican drug dealer/pimp was once a sweet little boy at my youth clubs - it pays to have friends in low places

Remember not just the poor girls who are used - remember the innocent wives and girlfriends who contract sexual diseases from their partners

I remember one sweet Kurdish wife who kept getting infections from her husband

I just could not bring myself to tell her - but I told him after the third infection that if it ever happened again I would march into the Kahve and tell EVERYONE including his wife's family exactly what he had done - never happened again and he became a much more loving husband

The majority of prostitutes I met while working as a youth and community worker in Brixton - South London - had actually became lesbian after a short while because they hated having sex with men

You are a man and have a man's outlook on prostitution

I have seen what it does to the girls

I have heard the different ways men make the women work for them

A large percentage of the men treat the women very well at first - here is a typical example of grooming:

Man meets younger girl
Impresses her with his car - clothes - homes - money etc
Does not touch her
Spends months treating her well
Buying her presents
Keeps telling her she is special
Proposes to her
Persuades her that now they are about to be married it is alright for them to have sex even though she is under age
Is very gentle and caring
The girl feels like a princess and loves her powerful wealthy man
Problem with the wedding plans
Man cries he has money problems
Owes money to a really nasty violent person
Perhaps he should just go and leave the girl alone
Girl "Oh darling what can I do?"

The girl is often persuaded that taking something will help her to get through it - as he really does not want her to suffer while she is doing this to help him or even save his life from violent gangsters

You can guess the rest

Very few pimps just take girls of the streets - but some gangs do and share the girls around

In an ideal world men would be in control of their feelings and not make use of women

The French had a far better way - the men would take a mistress and treat her very well - often paying her rent and providing for many of her needs

Difference between Sunni and Shia?

The rivalry between Sunni and Shia Muslims has lasted more than 1,400 years

Tensions between both branches of Islam have been rife for thousands of years, with both vying to be the dominant religion in the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia – dubbed the Sunni kingdom – is ruled by a Sunni monarchy, with 90 per cent of its population adopting the same faith.

How do Sunni and Shia differ?

The Sunni and Shia sects agree on many aspects of Islam, however there are also large disagreements between both sides.

Shias look towards the rewards of the afterlife and value the celebration of martyrdom.

Shias – also known as Twelvers – consider Ali and the leaders who came after him as Immams.

Many believe in a line of 12 Imams, the last of which was a boy believed to have vanished in the ninth century in Iraq after his father was murdered... and they expect his return as the Messiah.

However Sunnis emphasise God’s power in the material world, including the public and political realm.

What caused the divide between Sunni and Shia?

The 1,400-year split between the sects dates back to immediately after the Prophet Mohammed’s death in 632.

Mohammed died without appointing a successor, leading to a split in the religion over whether its next leader should be chosen democratically or whether the Prophet’s blood relatives should reign.

The Sunnis believed Mohammed’s friend and advisor Abu Bakr was the rightful “caliph” of Muslims, while Shias thought that his cousin and son-in-law Ali was chosen by Allah to rule.

Abu Bakr held the title first until his death, while Ali was crowned caliph fourth after two previous rulers were assassinated.

But the split became more entrenched between Sunnis and Shias over who came next.

Sunni Muslims argue their interpretation of Islam follows the ways of Mohammed (the Sunnah), Shias claim Ali was the rightful first caliph and only his descendants could claim to be the true leaders of Muslims.

Both sides claim to be the one “pure” branch of Islam.

Are Sunnis or Shias a larger group or Muslim?

The majority of Muslims across the world are Sunni – making up almost 85 per cent of Islam’s followers, while Shia Muslims remain confined to the Middle East.

Where can Sunni and Shia Muslims be found?

Sunni Muslims are spread throughout the world and make up the dominant religion in North Africa and the Middle East.

Shia Muslims on the other hand hold a majority in Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan and Bahrain – but there are also significant Shia populations in Yemen, Lebanon, Kuwait, Syria and Qatar.

Despite being members of the religious minority, the Saudi-backed Bahrain has long been ruled by the Sunni House of Khalifa.

Meanwhile, Iraq was ruled by Saddam Hussein – who was a Sunni Muslim – for more than 20 years, during which he savagely oppressed Shia Muslims.

When Saddam fell from power the Sunnis were savagely oppressed by Shia Muslims, horrors including innocent wives imprisoned, raped by Shia then tortured and often slaughtered

Nobody protected the Sunni from the savage Shia onslaught, which is one of the reason that the Islamic Stated gained so much support so quickly

I believe the majority of Sunni Muslims probably sympathise with ISIS

If fact the number of Sunni supporting ISIS has probably increased since the Fallujah and Mosul Massacres that killed THOUSANDS of INNOCENT, mostly Sunni people
