Ideas for kurdish movies:

PostAuthor: Dilnareen » Sun May 29, 2005 4:29 pm

A while back there were some kurdish movie ideas in the comments page, which i thought were too good/odd to be deleted eventually by haloscan, I've published them here to give you an idea, anyone care adding some more and/or giving opinions on these

Xosh 7al:

Why do Kurdish films have to be those independant artsy fartsy films??

Why can't they have brainless action film with action heroes like Dler Dynamite or Super Sarbaz... let's not forget the uber-cool man of all men Xoshnaw XoshBlood.

Picture this scenario, some social worker (EVIL EVIL) is harrassing a young Kurdish bit of eye candy about benefit frauding. Who comes steaming in a Skoda?? Xoshnaw XoshBlood in his black-leathered gel-filled glory (queue Human League's 'Dont You Want Me')... He utters his famous line to the social worker 'Da Bassa!'... and spears him with his majesticly steep nose.

The Kurdish lady he just saved falls in his arms, he bangs her and then dumps her in the morning, because he's that cool.

Holy crap.. that was an awesome film plot, be right back... I have to call Harvey Weinstein.

Bon Boganee

What a babe..

Listen to his song " Gewe Bigre Le Min"
If there ever was a man who did not know hot rap, he puts them all to shame

Xosh 7al:

NO!

No soundtrack will do except the best the 1980s had to offer; Human League's 'Dont You Want Me'.

We can reword it to..

'Don't you want me babyyyyy
Don't you want me Xooooooooooooooooshblooooooooooodddd'

Background vocals throughout the whole song.
'He's awesome Ill have you know Xushku bra
When he utters the word Da Bassa!'

Exams really do make me creative.

Kassem:

I think we should do a kurdish remake of "romeo and juliet"... okay it's this boy and this girl and they're so in love... let's say... mehmet and neriman... but their parents are owners of two rival kebab shops that face each other on each side of the street... then mehmet's father realize something is wrong, when he finds mehmet the hair full of kebab sauce, absent-mindedly putting gel in a kebab.

he asks him what's going on and discovers the truth... horrified, he cuts him off his internet connection, so mehmet can never talk to neriman via msn messenger again...

when neriman hears about that, she's so down that she decides to kill herself by going in the street in the middle of a winter night without a sweater. she writes a dramatic ending to her journal and leaves a death note on the fridge. but after a few minutes, she decides to come back because it's too cold. she sheds a few tears over her journal and writes : "sometimes, it takes more courage living than dying."

meanwhile, mehmet sees his whole life crumble in front of his eyes. his father disowned him, and his bright future as head of a filthy kebab shop in a poor neighborhood of cologne is crumbling in front of his eyes. he throws out his mafioso tainted sunglasses and sobs : "thay make me look so cool... but I'll never wear them again. what's the point of being cool if I can't have neriman?". then he starts crying like a little girl.

okay a few months later then, there's another kebab shop coming in the neighborhood, so the two families reconcile and make plans to blow up the new shop. they succeed, and at the end, we can do one of these emotional scenes : for the first time, mehmet puts his sunglasses again ( we put his movement in slow motion ). it's hardcore emotion. then they tongue kiss and everybody applauses and starts dancing.

the end.

Xosh 7al:
Screw that nonsense..

No one would want to see any form of movie after seeing Xoshnaw XoshBlood kick some un-needed ass.

Dont forget to see him in the action trilogy 'The Shining Gel of Freedom'

Episode 1: Defraud This!
Episode 2: It's Ok To Hold Men's Hands
Episode 3: Da Bassa Bow Nawa 7eezana

Dude - whats up with writing THREE messages and discussing with yourself? Hahahaha

Well - I HAVe heard of it being used as a girls name in Turkey - BUT in the other Turkic countries they use it for boys... I am quite sure of that...

Anyway - your idea is not so good - you know why? It has already been done... And not only ONCE - but TWICE! ;) "MEM Û ZÎN" and "SÎABEND Û XECÊ"

Have you seen these two movies? They are GREAT! AND SO romantic... I simply love the soundtrack for "MEM Û ZÎN"...
