I especially like the last statement of the interview:

Bahman Ghobadi wrote: We have a great culture. It is like a fire beneath the earth and we need to blow it so that it appears again. There is a layer of dust over the culture. Our problem is that we are divided. There was this beautiful and intellectual Kurdish girl. She was the first one to be sacrificed by a mine. She was torn into four pieces. In Many ways Kurdistan is like a handicapped. We need to connect those parts again. I don’t mean geography or land. I mean the culture.
