Help To Protect Kurdish Information Centres

Security for Kurdish Information Centres worldwide

SORRY I changed the name of this topic because, sadly, nobody commented :((

The murder of the 3 Kurdish activists in Paris was horrendous, and we ALL hope and pray that it is NOT repeated elsewhere.

From all the descriptions I have read about the killings, it would appear that the Information Centre was NOT in a modern ultra secure office but a small flat and an old apartment building.

I know that it might appear to be rather like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted BUT there has to be increased security in these Information Centres. Almost every country in the world has these centres and whilst we are all speculating as to who or what the real target was, who committed the murders, who ordered these murders and what was the reason for them OTHER PEOPLE MAY WELL BE AT RISK.

Often these centres are run by 1 or 2 ladies who dedicate their entire lives to the Kurdish cause BLESS THEM :D

I politely suggest that without any delay ALL these advise centres be relocated into secure purpose built offices and that there be a LARGE support staff at all locations with immediate effect

I know how hard these lovely ladies work and how important the work that they do is so make sure they are well protected

If you cared enough to have taken part in the protest marches then PLEASE care enough to HELP

Could you spare ONE day a month to volunteer in one of these Information Centres?

Would you give up the cost of ONE packet of cigarettes each week to help provide more security and better protection for the people working in these Information Centres?

PLEASE help the Information Centres NOW so that nobody else is ever murdered in one of them again

Everyone has something that they could do to help the Kurdish Information Centres.

PLEASE write YOUR ideas down and show the people who did these terrible murders that Kurds just keep getting stronger and STRONGER

Still NO response SAD :((

I am afraid that other workers in other centres are at risk and now it appears that a Kurdish centre in Belgium has been burnt down :((

These workers MUST be supported X(

Still NO response but I will keep trying

Anthea Xan or shall I say Kulka Xan :-D . You are being too emotional about the whole issue . Kurdish centres can not be protected by unarmed Kurds nor will we be allowed carry AK47 to protect it in Europe . It is the duty of the host country to protect Kurds and Kurdish entities from any attacks and if they do not , Kurds will strike back sooner or later I promise you that .

Naturally, I do NOT expect people with guns sitting in the Kurdish centres BUT I do expect MUCH more support for these centres.

Most of the time they are staffed by 2 or 3 hard-working ladies. Often a single woman is left on her own in some of these centres.

It there were several people working from the centres and sharing the work the people would be a great deal safer and they would not have to work such long hours :D

Also, some of these centres are in older buildings. They need to be relocated to modern office buildings where they is a lot more security. Having heard that other Kurdish centres have been attacked, I feel that it is time to make these places much more secure. There is NOTHING to stop Kurdish MEN from helping ih these centres :D

The killings in Paris were terrible, we MUST make sure that nothing like this happens again.

The facts are still coming out but it appears that 3 men entered the office yet only ONE gun was used.

If they were a group of professional assassins surely they would all have had guns?

Perhaps they did NOT expect to find 3 ladies there. Perhaps, they did NOT intend to kill anyone and something went wrong?

The only thing that we can be certain of is that it MUST NOT happen again.

when it comes to assassination , there is nothing that anyone can do about it , because it does not happen sponteniously and require months of planning .None of the above point will prevent the crime from happening .

Kulka is constantly active in her protests for Kurdistan, saying that she's lagging is very insulting.

RawandKurdistani, perhaps you have trouble with your English and have misunderstood something. About 2 months ago several of us were talking about boycotting facebook.

All I wrote was I thought we were going to have a big campaign then nothing happened it was NOT an insult it was a fact. SEE BELOW

For heval Dyaoko request i post my PM to him, maybe it will help:

We already kept a big campaign at the beggining of this year - when we use twitter for example - but all these are hopeless. Nobody never win with facebook about any case or issue. You can write millions of letters - and there will be no result. There was already some articles in media about this anti - kurdish policy, but as i said - no result.

We also found out that a lot of moderators on facebook are turks - my account was deleted 4 or 5 times within 2 years, last account was blocked about 3 times for few days - i was forced to remove some pics connected to Kurdistan (our other hevals was forced to remove even KCK flag pic).

Facebook is in favour of turkey - and struggle against them is like trying to convince Nato or USA to say "No" to turkish fascist policy toward Kurds. Of course - you can try, we can try - but personally i think its wasting of time - as it comes to negotations with facebook itself. We can try to find another path - through human rights or any organisation which handle unfair internet policy (racist policy).

All i'm saying, is that Kulka works very hard for our nation, the fact that she missed one thing (Probably for a good reason) Doesn't affect her contribution to our struggle for freedom against the 4 terror states.
