Mehmud Osman: The Rojava border must not be closed

PostAuthor: Qonyeyi » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:13 pm

In an interview with the Kurdish MP Mehmud Osman who is an independant running MP of the Iraqi parliament, Mehmud Osman emphasized on the importance of the strenghtening of Kurdish unity and brotherhood. Mehmud Osman is also a former member of KDP and the founder of Kurdistan Socialist Party:

''Back when the Southern Kurdish people was fleeing from the terror and violence of Saddam and fled to the border areas of the neighboring countries, nor Turkey, nor Iran and neither Syria closed their borders. When not even the neighboring countries were closing their borders, then of course how can Kurds close their borders among other Kurds? It is necessary that the Kurds of Syria must further increase their unity, only then can they retrieve their rights.''
