Qandil Mountains- Nine Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) fighters were killed in an avalanche last night.
Due to heavy snow fall in mountainous parts of Kurdistan region and Qandil Mountains, where the party’s members have sheltered, nine PKK rebels were killed as snow run over them while they were crossing a heavy snow blanketed area, Firat News Agency reported.
There were no more details about the number of wounded or injured rebels in the incident.
