Arrests in Yüksekova and Şemdinli 22 nov 12

Twenty people were taken into custody following home raids in Yüksekova and Şemdinli early this morning.

Police officers raided houses in Yüksekova's neighbourhoods of Orman, Esentepe and Yeni. Cihan Demir, Fettah Bor, Devran Bor, Mustafa Tekin, Emrah Tekin, Emrah Edis, Ferhat Terzioglu, Mehmet Tekin, Muhammet Aslan, Oktay Varol, Tajdin Ozdemir, Tekin Torsun, Vahit Sakar, Vedat Canan and Zafer Dara were detained.

Following the raids in Şemdinli, Feyaz Yaman, Mahsun Capa, Barış Ozturk and 2 others were detained. The detainees were brought to police headquarters.
