PUK Maliki made mistakes & should be flexible regarding current crisis
Azad Jindiani Spokesman of the Political Bureau of PUK announced that Nouri Al-Maliki Iraqi Prime Minister committed many mistakes and he should correct them, adding that President Jalal Talabani is not pleased with al-Maliki’s performance.
Jindiani announced in his statement to the London based Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper on Tuesday, “Talabani is not pleased with the performance of al-Maliki including his position from the political crisis which the country is going through in the last few months,”
“We in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, see that al-Maliki’s mistakes should be corrected or we will have to think of an approach to deal with these mistakes” Jindiani said adding “we have substitutions to deal with this situation, and we will closely observe al-Maliki positions and if he is committed to dialogue and negotiating approach,”
In his respond to a question about al-Maliki’s position from the national partnership as well as al-Maliki recent announcements that the national partnership ended, Jindiani said “al-Maliki is not the one to decide the fate of the national partnership, the one who is responsible for this decision is Kurdistan Alliance Bloc, which considers the State of Law Bloc as a part of it,”
Jindiani also said “Kurdistan Alliance’s parties are concerned in keeping the National Partnership going by being responsible and continuing the dialogues and negotiations, searching for suitable solutions to solve the country’s crisis”
Regarding the national dialogue congress which Talabani called for and al-Maliki announcement that it is not possible to hold such congress, Jindiani’s answer was “national dialogue is on hold at the moment, this dialogue had the chance to alleviate the country from its current crisis, unfortunately some parties did not cooperate with the President Talabani to conclude the National dialogue with success”.
