We Kurds would have become an independent country if we were not so loyal to Ottomans in the past, centuries back during the Ottoman invasion of Kurdistan, Kurdish Mullahs used to go door to door to tell the Kurds not to kill Ottoman soldiers because they are our "Muslim brothers"

Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) announced in a statement released on 1-11-2012, death of 41 Turkish soldiers and 2 fighters of the PKK during their attack on an army station in a district near Amad-Dear baker in Turkey’s Kurdistan.

It is VERY hard to find out what is happening in Iran but even when news does come out it is almost impossible to get any support
I always try to remind people of Habibollah Latifi and others like him, all the torture, and the closed trials people like him go through
