You guys use the same rhetorics all the time. To start with you said Ocalan demanded the hunger strike, so Ocalan should hunger strike himself. Now when he says the prisoners should not hunger strike, you say Ocalan should hunger strike. Make up your own minds. Your paradox is shining through because it is fuelled by discontent for Ocalan at a ridicilous level, not reason.
Besides, this is not about Ocalan or not. Ocalan is giving us a tool, an indication of how we can pressure the enemy further. Look how 10.000 people in a prison with limited connection to the world outside was able to pressure Turkey. Imagine what 100.000 hunger striking FREE Kurds could achieve. In that sense I agree with him. It should not be the prisoners who are already in a bad shape doing the hunger strike. It should be people like you and I.
Ghandi and Ocalan are not comparable. Ghandi was not locked up the same way as Ocalan and he had the support of most Indians. Even though this was 60 years back, Ghandi had more media coverage than Ocalan have ever had. Ghandi was not in isolation either so this might be the reason. Mashallah, whenever Ocalan opens his mouth, at least a 10s of millions of people ( even Kurds) are ready to chop him down like a lamb.
Serok Apo, zincira koletiye qedant!
Nav Leyla ye, tu viyan e, rê-hevala Ôcalan e
