This could be a good thing. It will allow for the PKK to be completely legitimate in the eyes of the western world and could very well ensure another KRG in Rojava and eventually one in Bakur. Also, PKK will never fully disarm, If anything a majority of them will simply call themselves PJAK and sit still in Qandil.

This isn't a defeat but a victory for us. Turkey has finally admitted that it will never be able to defeat the PKK. With a move like this, we can enter real politics in Turkey and start taking real steps towards gaining our rights.

The right question could be " WILL the PKK obey to Öcalan" ?

That being said, it is time to make a compromise. Personally; I have always sympathized the PKK.
The PKK has been a great asset to the Kurds in the 80's and 90's. They have put us on the map!
The war has evolved and a different type of enemy has been brought forward. It is time the Kurds and PKK adapt to the new war.
Ocalan realizes this, BDP realizes this.

The MHP & national Turks want to continue this war.. the nationalist Kurds want to continue this war.
And as a result, young men and women are becoming the victims of this bloody war.
We should continue our struggle on the streets, in courts and in parlement!

The question to this subject is how far is Turkey willing to go for the disarmament of the PKK?
Will there be sufficient playground for the MP's and NGO's such as the KCK to perform their duties?

i agree with you, but in the moment it is not the right time to lay down arms. the middleeast is in a process of rapidly change. PKK will get a key role in the kurdish case in near future. in western and northern kurdistan.
