Re: Öcalan wants the End of the Hunger Strikes

Ocalan did NOT ask the people to go on hunger strike

The people went on hunger strike for several reasons one reason was to free Ocalan

Is Ocalan free
NO

For the FIRST time in many years Kurds are getting in the news

Governments are starting to ask what is happening

KURDS are becoming KNOWN

Let us SILENCE THE KURDS

Stop their hunger strike

SUPPRESS THE KURDS X(

I DEMAND TO SEE THAT OCALAN IS ALIVE AND HEALTHY

WE MUST ALL DEMAND TO SEE THAT OCALAN IS ALIVE AND HEALTHY

There are some serious flaws in people's view on this topic.

1) Mehmet Ocalan has been the only one to meet Ocalan the last 460-470 days. He has met him more than this one time. He met him earlier this year twice. So all in all he has met with Apo three times during the isolation.

2) PKK did not force or order the prisoners to hunger strike. PKK's orders come from Qandil and Qandil has never ordered people inside the prisons to hunger strike. Wheter or not PKK's prison institution has ordered it, I can not say. But it seems to be a voluntary hunger strike since day one.

3) Apo is actually calling on the Kurdish people to continue hunger strike. The general Kurdish people. Not the prisoners who already have a lot of problems inside the prion's four walls. What he says is that the FREE Kurdish people should not expect or put pressure on the prisoners shoulders. They should start taking initiative themselves.

Apo is actually calling on the Kurdish people to continue hunger strike.

Why does he not participate to that movement if he approves it ? Surely for Turkish State, Öcalan's life is more precious than ordinary Kurdish prisoners's. After all, when Gandhi launched hunger strike movement, he fasted himself.

I agre, if ochalan do the hunger strike and he be in danger of dying, the turkish state will freak out, they know if he dies that will be a fuel for kurdish movement's fire. and with south and west kurds raising, it would be hard to stop northern kurds

I think we should demand ochalan to do the fasting himself too.

You guys use the same rhetorics all the time. To start with you said Ocalan demanded the hunger strike, so Ocalan should hunger strike himself. Now when he says the prisoners should not hunger strike, you say Ocalan should hunger strike. Make up your own minds. Your paradox is shining through because it is fuelled by discontent for Ocalan at a ridicilous level, not reason.

Besides, this is not about Ocalan or not. Ocalan is giving us a tool, an indication of how we can pressure the enemy further. Look how 10.000 people in a prison with limited connection to the world outside was able to pressure Turkey. Imagine what 100.000 hunger striking FREE Kurds could achieve. In that sense I agree with him. It should not be the prisoners who are already in a bad shape doing the hunger strike. It should be people like you and I.

Ghandi and Ocalan are not comparable. Ghandi was not locked up the same way as Ocalan and he had the support of most Indians. Even though this was 60 years back, Ghandi had more media coverage than Ocalan have ever had. Ghandi was not in isolation either so this might be the reason. Mashallah, whenever Ocalan opens his mouth, at least a 10s of millions of people ( even Kurds) are ready to chop him down like a lamb.

I am not convinced that Ocalan is a Alive and Healthy (you might have noticed some of my other posts)

If he is Alive and Healthy why is it that ONLY one person has been allowed to see him ? ? ?

It is easy for Turkey to manipulate one person, it would NOT be so easy to manipulate an entire team of lawyers
