America encouraged Turkey to fall into Syrian Trap, the same way they did it with Saddam Hussein to fall into Kuwait trap
It has become obvious for America that Turkey is not a reliable ally but Kurds are, which confirmed by White House spokesman. Turkey as USA ally has let USA down many times and has become a liability to America. So why USA supported Turkey to invade Syria? All signs indicate USA didn't support Turkey to invade Syria but rather let it to fall into Syrian trap. This is the same thing they did with Saddam Hussein when they encouraged him to fall into Kuwait trap after he became a liability.

This is a payback for Turkey for not been a reliable ally. America has realized that it can not ever rely on Turkey although it has been an ally on paper for a long time. During the liberation of Iraq on 2003, Turkey refused and stood against USA to liberate Iraq. Turkey also refused USA to use Turkish basis to attack ISIS. But in order to take out a major force, PKK, from battlefield against ISIS, by declaring war against them, Turkey let USA use Turkish basis against ISIS as corruption carrot. Turkey also went as far as to become a Russian ally as an open move against USA. USA as well as Nato ally members have realized they can not relly on Turkey especially on something like hostility with Russia. So for Turkey as Nato member, doesn’t mean anything useful for USA and the rest of Nato members.

Turkey cannot and don’t want to fight ISIS because there is a collaboration between Turkey and ISIS. When Turkish army and the so called Free Syrian Army entered Syrian Jerablus, ISIS fighters became two groups, one went to Turkey and came back as Free Syrian Army. The other group went to Al-bab under the control of ISIS. Since the move of Turkish army to Syria, so far hardly any hostility has taken place between them and ISIS. In addition to hostility against Kurds, it seems the main target of Turkish army is to strengthen Free Syrian Army against Assad. But there is no way for FSA and Turkey to bring down Assad. This is impossible.
Turkey also can not collaborate with Assad. To do that it has to move against Sunnie Arabs. This is something Turkey can not do because the cost becomes very heavy. In addition to its hostility against Kurds, Turkey has to remain hostile to Assad to bring him down and let Sunnie Arabs to take over and create Syrian unity utopia. But no one ever can bring Assad down. So Turkey can not bring down Assad and can not abandon Arab Sunnies. In addition to that it can not move against Kurds at the East of Euphrates. So Turkey has fallen into a trap of an endless civil war, the same way Russians involved in Afghanistan.

Consequently Turkey is going to pay very heavy and Erdogan will be humiliated more than Saddam Hussein in Kuwait. At the end Roj Awa becomes victorious and extends as far as Mediterranean Sea. This is the only way to cut ISIS from its mother, Turkey. All the Syrian sunnie armed groups are religion-driven and all at the end become as extreme as ISIS, if not worst. This disease will also spread to and take over Turkey. All the so called moderate groups, supported by USA, will soon turn against USA, just like what happened in Afghanistan, where Al-qaida evolved from the groups supported by USA to fight Russia. USA and Nato knows that.

Only Kurds can fight this disease. For this USA and allies, in the case of Roj Awa, have to provide all the support to extend Roj Awa to the Mediterranean Sea.
