That depends on what you believe is good/excellent driving.

I think the drivers in Kurdistan belong to the best of the world. They drive in mountainous areas, not the best roads & safety, in heavy snow and fog and they still go through those mountains like it is nothing.

But they are also crazy drivers, they don't really care about the rules and the road signs are like invisible to them :p.
Well, its not as bad as 5 or 6 years a go because all the main roads are re-constructed and the government is forcing the drivers to obey to the rules and traffic controllers. If they don't, they will get a fine.

I'm talking about a incident which occured when I visited Kurdistan for the first time last year. A taxi driver drove us from silêmanî to derbendîxan and when no cars were around he always drove in the middle.. And he still drove in the middle when he couldn't see the end of the road while turning. We almost crashed 4 times.. :-ss He was like telling stories about when his father ate pork and he had to pull out his teeth 8-}

bro, S.K just recently became what it is today, many people didn't have stuff like TV's or cars during the 90's, 80's. Try to compare the kurds from bashur to iranians when they are driving, I can assure you that the kurds in bashur who many just recently got cars follows the law and drives 10 times better than iranians. I remember when i was going to cross a street in Theran the car that was approaching me started driving faster instead of slowing down but when I was in Slemani they waited for me to cross. And by the way the iranians have had a much more time to develop as a society but they just keep going backwards. While S.K is a newborn modern society which with time improves all the time. You can't expect them to drive the same way as they do in Sweden.
