USA is only interested in our oil, and they will give us millions if that means they can drive their fat SUVs. Don't you understand? The Peshmerga leaders are puppets of America, and when the Taliban will threaten Iraqi security, they will send the Peshmerga to the front line! Do you wish to see that happen?!

ئه زانم ئامریکا له چاوو برومان خوشی نه هاتوه I know USA do all of that for its purpose but it is still good to have a powerful country with us (Mostly Economic advantages) and USA is better than Russia for friendship .

again i agree with kak Azamat. when in Kurdistan i was talking with one of my brothers and ask him why the f*** there is so many iraqi flags everywhere - why is iraqi flag on parliament building - he said - Americans said we must put these flags. I answers - they can order what to do on their own land - not on ours. Why there dont go to defend human rights in Iran? No oil there?

no one trusts them and KRG knows this , but its best for them to stay specially the isolated area hasn't been annexed back . so we keep and use them :D.

This is stupid............. it's all political!

- Kurds that join Iraqi army are ex-Peshmerga and still loyal to Kurdistan

The soldiers said that while they wore Iraqi army uniforms they still considered themselves members of the Peshmerga - the Kurdish militia - and were awaiting orders from Kurdish leaders to break ranks. Many said they wouldn't hesitate to kill their Iraqi army comrades, especially Arabs, if a fight for an independent Kurdistan erupted.

http://www.commondreams.org/headlines05/1228-03.htm

- Kurds that enter Iraqi army get high level american training, which would be helpful when they come back to Kurdistan with those skills.
- In case of war between Kurds and Arabs, the Iraqi army will be split and will have war with in it.
- These soldiers are paid by Baghdad, which saves us money to spend on other things
- The peshmerga are technically apart of the 'Iraqi army' however they are under full control of Kurdistan, and what that means is that Baghdad will pay for them and train/arm them for us! so why not?!?

This is a double win for us! think about it...............................

EVEN IF THEY HAD NO WEAPON, THEY STILL WERE BETTER FIGHTERS THAN STUPID SADDAM DONKEYS.

Kulka, this is for the best. Wanting to do something and having the power/authority to do it are two different things.

Let there be Iraqi flags everywhere, what does it mean? That Kurdistan is Iraqi!? While this may be the case on the paper, it is not in reality. Kurdistan is a de facto independent country. The existence of such flags do not make things worse. In fact, if those flags were to be removed, it would create some unnecessary tensions which could lead to some unfortunate consequences.

For now let the flags be present In time, they will be removed, that is guaranteed. Patience is a virtue, right!?
