Barzani called for a September deadline for resolving the political impasse to offer Iraqi Kurds an incentive not to break away from Baghdad. "It has to be before then. At least," Barzani said.
If no solution is found before local elections scheduled for September in Kurdistan, Kurds may be asked to vote on a referendum to decide, as Barzani put it, whether they want to "live under a dictatorial regime" controlled by Baghdad or in an independent state.

These are good news kak Alan, hope we get good news from President Masoud Barzani soon. When will the oil pipeline that goes to Turkey be finished? And what about the one that goes through Iraq and then Turkey?

That is very short sighted view . You make it look like Kak Barzani controls everything related to Kurdistan .
Barzani will always call for peace , condemn violence and will always ask both sides to lay down the arms . PKK can do that , but would turkey comply , negotiate , or give kurds their basic rights ? . PKK is a big problem for turkey and a big asset for Kurdistan and we should never forget that .Turkey is quit capable of establishing peace with Kurds on their own in return for their basic rights as human beings , but they will never do it . Turkey is not asking for peace , it is asking for destruction of PKK .
I will say this : The day will come when we will truly learn to appreciate PKK and PJAK , because when diplomacy and negotiation , photo Obs are all over and the bullets are flying in the air , they will always be in the front line defending Kurds across Kurdistan .
