^^^ they should replace that sign, it has a different font and the arrows are not like the ones used on the other street signs. Though I like the fact that they are using more electronic signs, as you can see on the other side of the road.

This is probably also about the highways that will be built by Romanian companies.

Btw, I checked those companies, and those companies are the main contractors for the Romanian government. They are called Romstrade and Delta ACM.

As long as they build highways like these, it is fine with me

Yes agreed KRG shouldmonly give road constructions and highways to EU companies I'd be choosing German ones no Turkish Iranians pls.

At the bidding rounds, besides this Romanian company, there were only Turkish companies who wanted to build the higways in kurdistan and there was even one Turkish-Iranian company, LOL. however, they gave the projects to this Romanian company

Yeah, German roads are good, especially the quality of the asphalt, however, Dutch roads are better lit and have more electronic signs. Not to mention that the emergency telephones found at the german highways date from the 70s, while in holland they replace them every 10 years.

Though countries like Croatia, Czech republic, Romania and so on do quite well in constructing new roads, however the road networks of these countries are inadequate since they've been only repairing and constructing new highways since they have joined the EU (which is in 2007).

Municipality is responsible for crash accidents, says Garmian Traffic Police



ERBIL, August 23 (AKnews) – Gramian Traffic Police is putting responsibility for car crash accidents on Kalar municipality, saying long grass hinders the visibility of drivers and civilians.

Traffic police media secretary Karzan Kareem said: "Due to large trees and grass in between roads, the civilians need luminous clothes to cross the streets or they can cross in spots near lights to allow them to be seen by drivers.

"Large trees and grass create trouble for drivers and pedestrians."

Majeed stressed that many times they have informed Kalar’s municipality presidency to cut the trees and grass but they do not reply to them.

Yesterday at 12:00am a Kia mini bus hit a woman while she was crossing a dual road near Goran neighborhood.

Majeed also said the traffic police have been cutting and shortening grass when necessary even though this is not their job.

"The grass should be less than 40cm so that even kids can be seen by drivers when crossing the road."
