That is why I hate reports from turkish media article on roj bash , because they mention the word terrorist at least 10-15 times in each article .

Any way thanks for noticing heval . I have removed the word terrorist from the article and in the future it would be great if we all replace the word terrorist with Peshmerga .

I sure will remove the word terrorist from their articals from now on. However I find it weird that everytime I go into their site I find news about Kurds and Kurdistan.

Well, half of their articles are about kurds, kurdistan and pkk. In the meanwhile, they deny kurds existence.

Zor supas heval
I hope you understand that the comment was not directed at you specifically , I have done it in the past too . The word terrorist is such a cliché in turkish media to the point that it lost it's meaning :-D .
Kurd and kurdistan is a huge problem for turkey and their biggest threat because we live within so called turkey . Kurdistan is not like Greece or another country where turkish army can go ad attack them . There is no winning with us as long as we are standing .

Severe clashes between HPG forces and Turkish army in Şemdinli

People’s Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM released a statement on recent clashes between HPG forces and Turkish soldiers in Şemdinli district of Hakkari in the last three days .

HPG-BIM reported that at least 30 soldiers were killed and many others were wounded in clashes in the operation area. Four guerrillas died in the intense bombardment of the Turkish army, said HPG-BIM.

Giving information about the guerrilla actions against the operation, HPG-BIM stated that clashes broke out following two separate guerrilla actions in the region on 23 July.

Warplanes, cobra helicopters, howitzers and mortal artilleries were used in the intense bombardment from both air and land, said the statement and noted that one skorsky type helicopter was shot down and two others were damaged in the region of Şiteza in Yüksekova.

The statement added that one soldier died in separate clashes between HPG guerrillas and Turkish soldiers in Özalp district of Van province on 24 July.

30 July 2012

The area around Şemdinli (province or Hakkari) has been the scene of heavy clashes for a week

Mayor of Şemdinli Sedat Töre has said the government is hiding the truth of what is happening in the area.

Töre added that "the area is under control of the HPG guerrillas forces and for the past two weeks the army has been heavily bombing the area".

The area of Şemdinli has been the scene of heavy clashes since last week. A number of soldiers have died, at least 15 according to HPG sources.

The mayor of Şemdinli has added that "many villagers are distressed for what is happening and are forced to stay out of their homes because of the bombing".

Two Turkish soldiers killed Ten injured in PKK clashes

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (Reuters) - Kurdish rebels killed two Turkish soldiers in clashes in the country's southeast and hundreds of villagers have fled the fighting, adding to Ankara's concerns over gains by Kurdish groups in neighboring Syria.

The government of Hakkari province, near Turkey's borders with Iraq and Iran, said the two soldiers were killed and 10 others wounded during fighting that broke out there on Sunday.

Fighting, including bombardment with helicopters and war planes, was still underway on the southern fringe of the town of Semdinli, town mayor Sedat Tore said.

He said six hamlets had been evacuated and up to 1,000 people had fled.

The province is the scene of recurring fighting between Turkish forces and fighters of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which has fought a separatist insurgency in the mainly Kurdish southeast since 1984 and which is regarded as a terrorist group by the United States, European Union and Turkey.

Syrian opposition forces say President Bashar al-Assad's forces last week quit areas further west on the Turkish-Syrian border, now reportedly controlled by members of a PKK-aligned Syrian Kurdish group.

The collapse of Syria's state security presence in a region populated largely by Kurds has stirred Turkish anxieties about the potential for rekindled separatist sentiment in its borders.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said last week that Turkey could intervene in Syria in response to any attack or potential threat deemed to emanate from there.

You can't be serious. I hope you realize we only use SK and EK to be specific as to what part of Kurdistan they are from (whether it be under Iranian, Turkish, Iraqi or Syrian occupation), not because there is any real difference between any of us.

I just happen to be born on one side of the border, that doesn't make me any different than some one born on the other side.

Crazyhorse, Kurdistan has one united people and all kurds are fighting for kurdistan. The kurds in north, south, east and west have always been involved in the same struggle. When we refer to west, south, east, and north, that doesn't mean we are any different! I hope you will not say that again because Kurdish people from all parts have fought for South Kurdistan.

Didn't you hear what PKK said that other day? They said they are ready to defend the kurds against the iraqi army in jalawla, saddia, and khanaqin if KRG gave them an authoritative order. Same as us, we will fight for Western Kurdistan and then the other parts too.

I don't remember when I placed that comment, but it was not meant to be anti-PKK or Kurds from NK. I am pro-PKK, as you maybe know. But I think I was a little bit frustrated because someone was judging Peshmerga from South-Kurdistan for not doing anything to help the PKK, while they've done (there are even pictures of Mam Jalal with Ocalan/Apo).

Kak crazyhorse, sometimes we all get frustrated, but we are all kurds at the end and we must not get upset at each other. Anyway, lets forget this and get back on the topic.

This is Shamzian where Kerdogan took a photo during the conflict between PKK and Turkgay. However, this place is controlled by the PKK guerrillas at the moment.
