all im saying is they can have there ninevah plains but thank god thats has nothing to do with kurdistan thats something they need to talks with in arab forums not here . this is a kurdish forum no room for outsiders since they are all our enemies according to themselves .

The people who call their self "Assyrian" are very funny. They claim a region, because of the ancient Assyrian- empire...Ok, many people would say it is their right, but why these "Assyrians" never mention, that the ancient Assyrians had died out ? The people who call their self "Assyrian" aren't the descendants of the ancient Assyrian's...just inform yourself...

And even if they are the true descendants, you cannot follow the reality of ancient times. During the Assyrian empire, Kurds were suppressed by them...these Assyrians deported us and they killed us...even our Newroz- legend, depends on the struggle between Assyrians and Kurds (Medes). And there is no historical evidence, that the Assyrians settled down in this region before the Kurds !!!

About the genocide, during the First World War:

1. The Kurds didn't organize this genocide, and we weren't a part of the government (Ittihad ve terraki), so at least from a legal standpoint Kurds aren't responsible for the genocide (you can compare it with Austria and the "Shoah").

2. The Kurdish tribes, which were involved in the genocide, were called Hamidiye- cavalry, and they fought for Turkish interests. These Kurdish tribes were also involved in massacres against their own countrymen (Fermana Dêrsimê, Serhildana Shêx Seyîde Pîran,etc.) - so nobody can say, that "Kurds" were responsible for the genocide. These Kurdish tribes, were traitors, and aren't representative for the Kurdish nation.

3. According to Ottoman documents, 500 000 muslims were killed by Christians during this time. The Ottoman just use, the term muslim, but when we consider, where this "muslims" were killed (Sêwas, Wan, Culemêrgê, Agrî, Devera Serhedê,etc.) it is very clear that they were talking about Kurds. Why Assyrians never talk about these massacres ?

The reality nowadays:

Every week, Christans are killed by Arabs, and they flee to the KRG...that is the reality in "Iraq"...and here in Southern Kurdistan, they have their own schools and they are free, in every aspect !! Last year the Christians tried to demonstrate for their rights in Mosul But the arabs threatened the Christians, so they came to Dohuk, and they had a big demonstration there, and nobody said something to them...the KRG built many settlements for them, and the KRG put many Christians in the parliament and the government...the KRG built some churchs for them, especially in Dohuk...that is the reality in Southern Kurdistan, and never hear to the lying propaganda of some "Assyrian" nationalists...

The Kurds are the majority, even before the genocide, and if they claim Kurdish land, so they have to fight for it like us...

PS: We are still discussing about the "Assyrians", but believe me they aren't that important in "Iraq"

they are not very thankful, they will stab us when they can. Great to help, but not in Kurdistan. Make a refuge camp near al ghosh or something.

you guys dont understand they hate kurds with passion and and KRG should do the same with them like arabs do , cos they never say 1 word to arabs do they ? go on there ranting website of assyrianvoice or whatever it is they never blame arabs , and some how they all go back to the word "kurds are gypsies and taken our lands" how about you get out of KRG 1st all of yous then fight for our land but WARNINGS good luck with your 1million population against 40 millions .
