Divisions intensify among senior PKK figures, reports say

PostAuthor: Anthea » Sat May 21, 2016 10:16 pm

Recent intelligence reports have revealed that there are intense disagreements among PKK terror organization's leadership, accusing each other of failures, military sources said on Saturday.

According to reports, there have been a rise in the differences in opinion and arguments reflected on the radio talks between the group's terrorists, particularly among senior PKK figures Cemil Bayık and Murat Karayılan.

The recent disagreements have been over the failure in terror activities in the southeastern Yüksekova district of Hakkari province, the reports say, adding that the person responsible for the district, Yılmaz Kürdo code named Yusuf Saydut, has left the group during the operations.

The reports add that Murat Karayılan holds Cemil Bayık for the group's failures in Yüksekova district.

Karayılan and his supporters argue that that the Yüksekova district held a significant importance for the terror group as many tunnels and ditches dug in the area were reportedly assisting the terrorists to stock weapons and escape security forces. Meanwhile, the district was also an important route for PKK's drug trafficking activities.

After successful operations by security forces, Yüksekova was cleared of PKK terrorists and nearly 200 members of the group were killed. In addition, more than 200 barricades were cleared and more than 300 handmade explosives were detonated in a controlled manner.

Meanwhile, Bayık reportedly argues that Yusuf Saydut's, supported by Karayılan, escaping the operations is the reason behind the failures in Yüksekova.

The reports revealed that it is the first time the internal disagreements have reached such large scale in the group.

The PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU, resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July, since when more than 430 members of the security forces have also been killed.

Turkish security officers have killed more than 4500 PKK terrorists since the launch of anti-terror operations on July 22, 2015, military sources said on May 11.

The number of killed terrorists include those killed in Turkey and also during the operations launched against the group in its northern Iraq camps.

The sources added that 695 were captured wounded, in addition to 716 others captured and 641 who surrendered to the security forces.

Ankara has stated its determined stance against PKK terror organization on many occasions, vowing to continue operations until all the terror threats are cleared off.

Meanwhile, the district was also an important route for PKK's drug trafficking activities.

PKK is losing financial and moral support since it decided to turn TRAITOR on all the THOUSANDS of Kurds who gave up their lives fighting for an Independent Kurdistan

PKK no longer appears to have any clear aims of it's own and seems to be following the traitorous HDP with their love of Turks and desire to live as brothers with Turks under the Turkish regime X( :ymsick:

PKK has recently announced it's affiliation to an assortment of loony left-wing and Marxist groups, rather than affiliate themselves to well known indigenous groups such as the Aborigines in Australia and the Native Americans, both of which seek greater rights and more independence

Actually the Catalonians, who seek independence from Spain, would be a perfect partner for Kurds seeking Independence to affiliate themselves to

PKK desperately needs control of Western Kurdistan to give them more status and an all important income

Sadly, even in Western Kurdistan, PKK are selling out the Kurds by denying Kurds an Independent Western Kurdistan :(( and declaring the region to be 'Federation of Northern Syria' or 'Rojava'

To all PKK I wish to remind you that the area of land concerned is:

WESTERN KURDISTAN

or you may use the Kurdish name

ROJAVAYE KURDISTANE

Only a TRAITOR would remove the proud name of KURDISTAN from KURDISH land

My thoughts on the rfit within the party have already been written on several occasions but I will reiterate briefly:

At the time of Ocalan's arrest the party had many difficulties, much infighting

Ocalan supposedly came up with a peace map that consisted mostly of requirements Turkey needed to enable it's entry into EU

Sakine Cansiz founder member of PKK would NEVER have agreed to giving up the struggle for independence - she was executed

Murat Karayılan, my own personal favourite within the party, had until recently been leader of PKK in since Ocalan's incarceration

It would appear Murat was not entirely happy with some of the things Ocalan was purported to have said, and requested that he be able to send someone of his choosing to visit Ocan and confirm

Murat's request was refused and almost immediately following that refusal, Ocalan supposedly demanded a restructure of PKK leadership whereby Murat was sidetracked and overall control was removed from him

In my opinion the PKK was a great deal more stable and a great deal more focused when Murat was in control. I expect there are a great many within the party itself who feel the same way - at least I hope so :ymdevil:
