My name is KURDISTAN
Forget me NOT
For I am coming
And I WILL be FREE

We must stand as ONE
UNITE as ONE
ONE great KURDISH nation
For all the world to see

We do not need a gun to fight
we can fight with our pens
with our voices
with our songs
with our poems
with our every actions
with our hearts
and with our very souls

We are not only fighting for ourselves
We are fighting to ensure that
OUR children
and
OUR children's children
for generations yet to come
have a country to call
KURDISTAN

We are fighting for the very survival
of the KURDISH NATION

We are fighting for all those
who have fought and died in the past
for their beloved KURDISTAN

We are fighting for all
those tortured
those imprisoned
those murdered
those who disappeared
never to be seen again
All those mothers
who sit and weep
for the loss of a child
All those who have
lost a loved one
lost family or friends

We are fighting for the memory
of the millions who have gone before
and whose passing must
NEVER be forgotten
