Nexêr xûshkî shirînim, to bi KURDÎ dinûsî! :wink:

Inca min bo to billêm watey "Shevîn" chiye! :D

Nawê "Rojîn" anasî? "Shevîn" jî bi hemen em manaye...

Rojîn = Bright/Light like the sun - Daily - reborn again and again
Shevîn = Dark like the night - Nightly - reborn again and again

Yêk tishtek dinîsh heye bi nawî "Shevîn"e - min eme bi Inglisî bot billêm bastire :oops: :

When a Shivan is out in the summer with his flock of sheep, in the evening he finds a place for the sheep to rest and sleep. In the middle of the night, he wakes up, around 3-4 and wakes up his flock of sheep - because if the sheep sleep till morning, they will be hungry and not be strong like if they had eaten something - so he wakes them up in the middle of the night - so that they can eat... That is called "Shevîn" - "Shivan pezan dirakete shevînê"...

:)

Û herwiha - bi xêr hatî bo em malpere û forûme xûshkim...

Bi xêr hatî keke... :) Supas... But the infinitive form of the verb "to translate" will be "wergerandin" - in Kurmancî... In Soranî maybe just "wergeran" don't know... Is that how you say it in your dialect?

Either way - "din"/"tin"/"in"/"-n" are the suffix which mark verb's infinitive form - in Kurmancî...

Examples:

Axiftin = To talk
Nivîsandin = To write

This has to do with the verb: Kirin = To do

In old Kurdish one would use "Kirin" at the end of the verbs - but then gradually the verb "kirin" often became part of the verb - and added half-way to the ending of the verb...

Rustic Kurdî examples of the verbs I put up there:

Axif kirin = To talk
Nivîs kirin = To write

But those were how they were said before...

There are still verbs in Kurdish where we add the "kirin" - where the two verbs; "kirin" + the other verb have not emerged to form one verb...

Azad kirin = to (make) free (something/somebody)
Pishgirî kirin = to (make) support (of something/somebody)
Besh kirin = to participate/to partition

etc...

So the infinitive form of the verb "translate" will have to be according to grammatic rules:

Wergerandin

Right? If you see any mistakes or have any questions... Shout it out... :)
