Ocalan has been locked up for 20 years

In 20 years the MILLIONS of Kurds in Northern Kurdistan have FAILED to save HASANKEYF

In 20 years the MILLIONS of Kurds in Northern Kurdistan have FAILED to save OCALAN

Sadly Kurds in Northern Kurdistan have failed miserably to unite so it is not surprising they are achieving little in the way of advancement

Given that there are many Kurds who do not support Ocalan and Marxism, there is no reason for them not to support Hasankeyf

Hasankeyf is the most important historical site in Kurdistan - it is not political - it has nothing to do with Marxism or Ocalan - it is an important part of Kurdish heritage and needs to be saved for future generations

Hasankeyf is a 12,000 year old site and looked after it properly it could last several more thousands of years - shamefully Kurds are allowing it to be destroyed X(

Ocalan, with the best will in the world, is out of touch with current events

We have been lead to believe Ocalan has been kept in isolation without resources and media to keep him informed of world news

A great deal has changed in the world during the past 20 years, including the almost total end of communism and the formation of many new and independent countries

Recently Erdogan is behaving erratically and clamping down on Kurds even harder - there is no telling what he is capable of X(

Erdogan and his predecessors have continued in the persecution of Kurds and the destruction of Kurdish lands that started even before the division of Kurdish lands

Time to ask the unthinkable:

Would Erdogan reinstate the Death Penalty ? ? ?

Long March from London to Wales continues

Kurds have been staging long marches across Europe in protest at the international conspiracy and isolation against Abdullah Ocalan

A long march is taking place from London to Wales to mark the 20th anniversary of the February 15 international conspiracy against Abdullah Ocalan.

The march, which has continued through Reading, Newbury, Bath, Swindon and Bristol, is set to end tomorrow evening in Newport, Wales where Kurdish activist Imam Şiş has been on hunger strike for 60 days.

Greek Embassy 20 years ago

Many more Kurds came to support us

The Greek Embassy protest was followed up by many other LARGE protests and marches

Sadly, over the years, Kurds have forgotten where they came from and where many of their relations still live

Many Kurds in the UK have become a disgrace:

Doing nothing to prevent destruction of their homeland

Making no attempt to share culture with others

Teaching their children Turkish not Kurdish

Not allowing their wives to learn English

    Gambling is becoming a problem

    Many young Kurds take drugs

I imagine Paris was the same as London - lots of strange meetings :ymdevil:

Have you noticed a decline in Kurdish pride among those from Northern Kurdistan

When those from Northern Kurdistan were fighting for an Independent Kurdistan - they were different, fired up and enthusiastic

Now they wish to become brothers and live in harmony with Turks :ymsick:

I find them traitors to the independence cause for which many of my Kurdish friends gave their lives

Yet these poor Kurds themselves do not even realise they are being manipulated X(

This change of policy was launched by Öcalan himself. Then it was God's words.

Now most of Northern Turks are fed with war.The sad thing I noticed in Diyarbakir is that many Kurds are more fluent in Turkish than in Kurdish. And not only young people. Perhaps more 40-50 years than young, in fact. I hope that younger generation is eager to keep their language alive.

All those MILLIONS of Kurds do not need to ever fire a gun

There are enough Kurds in Turkey to bring the Turkish economy to it's knees many times over

They do not know their own history

They do not understand what Marxism is

Or the fact that most previously communist countries have totally done away with the communist ideology because it was brutal and did not work

Kurds still believe Ocalan will give them an Independent Kurdistan =))

Kurds do not understand that Ocalan's famous road map for peace, is nothing more than a rehashed of the requirements Turkey had to fulfil in order to further it's application to join the EU

Conference on Ocalan in the House of Lords

Syrian Democratic Council Co-chair Ilham Ehmed, HDP Deputy Co-chair Hisyar Ozsoy, KNK Co-chair Rebwar Rashid and several others are speaking in the conference

The House of Lords is hosting a conference with the theme of solidarity with the Kurdish people and freedom for Ocalan.

The organizers said the Turkish state worked intensely to stop the conference in the House of Lords titled, “Solving the Crisis in the Middle East: Abdullah Ocalan’s Ideology”.

The conference hosted by Labour Party’s Lord Maurice Glasman was organized with support from trade unions with millions of members, the Freedom for Ocalan campaign and the Kurdish Popular Assembly Britain.

Syrian Democratic Council Co-chair Ilham Ehmed, HDP Deputy Co-chair Hisyar Ozsoy, KNK Co-chair Rebwar Rashid and several others are speaking in the conference.

The conference will continue all day. Kurdish Popular Assembly Britain Co-chairs Ercan Akbal and Besime Basar spoke before the conference, which has garnered great interest, and said it will be “a historic conference”. The Co-chairs called on progressive forces and institutions to take a role in building a new social life around Abdullah Ocalan’s ideas.
