well there are also panthers in Kurdistan.Just google it, its an endangered species and the one I saw it youtube was killed by a bomb T_T I love animals. the people were not nice to it while dying they tugged at it and picked on it. but it shows that we have large cats as well.

Historically, Wan is Kurdish, Ararat can be considered Armenian.
Carduchians were attested around Wan by Xenephon, whilst, when the Greeks had crossed Wan (and thus ended up around Ararat), they arrived in Armenia.
