ERBIL, July 22 (AKnews)- The director of Duhok's Displacement and Migration announced that so far more than 9,000 Syrian asylum seekers have arrived in the Kurdistan Region.

Mohammed Abdullah said: "The work in the new camp in Duhok province is ongoing and now in its third and fourth stage. The camp receives 50 Syrian asylum seekers daily."

Fresh waves of Syrian immigrants will come towards the Kurdistan Region’s cities, added the director.
