it is not going to be as their will, US will force them or it will say (i will stop all support to you) and the oil you speak off is tiny compared to what we have in SK ;).

turks will loosen up with 3 kurdish entities just south of its border.

na dear we dont want destruction like we are seeing in syria , look how peacefully we are liberating WK, why do you think this is the case ? does ExxonMobil 25 year deal with SK ring a bell !? SK needs stability and US will provide it bit by bit bcoz they need our oil and gas so does the EU.

The members [of the NATO] agreed that an armed attack against any one of them would be considered an attack against them all. Consequently they agreed that, if an armed attack occurred, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence, would assist the member being attacked, taking such action as it deemed necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the area. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO

Therefore, it wouldn't be smart to attack turkey, however, the day will come when nk will be liberated as well.

tonite will be the night to liberate Qamishlo based on the reports i am reading.

But you say that the PKK stop the Peshmergas from entering west Kurdistan, whats now with that, did the Peshmerga cross the borders or not?

Alan said they "stopped" the Peshmerga from entering Derik not West Kurdistan as a whole but now they are probably already in Derik too.

Average hight in the whole Near East. People from the Mediterranean Europe/Near East tend to be smaller on average.

the EK parties are divided as f#@k, so with the blessing of Kak Massoud they will be united when time comes, which is soon i hope after iran is attacked, NK then will be forced by the west to be given back peacefully.

I have to disagree. Knowing Turks NK will have to be taken by force. You really think the Turkish government will give up a massive peace of land that as oil and gas in it?

The Oil and Gas reserves in North Kurdistan are relatively average compared to the rest of Turkey. There is really nothing but chauvinism speaking against North Kurdistan becoming independent from Turkey. However we are now talking about West Kurdistan just forgot about North Kurdistan for now.

I saw like 20 posts of arab chauvinist barking about zionist plots. The funny thing is that they are so keen on preserving their western made borders as long as it suits their nazi cause. Western kurdistan will never return to its former occupied state. New times are coming and the kurdish sun is rising above the horizon. Biji peshmerga :)

your most probably wrong. with "other forces" I think he means Turkish or Arab troops. I dont know why you are so skeptical. They have raised Kurdistan flag all over the buildings so why should they breach the Erbil treaty. If they do that they will stay as the traitors of Kurds for decades if not centuries and loose many support because in our days its easy to follow events in Kurdistan and people all over the world know whats happening.

And as you mentioned yourself. Peshmerga already entered West Kurdistan so I dont get why you are so skeptical.

Kurds Give Ultimatum to Syrian Security Forces

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – A statement by the Union of Kurdish Coordination Committees (UKCC) on Friday called on all members of the Syrian army to withdraw from the Kurdish areas or face consequences.

“After liberating a part of our Kurdish region, we are warning all the pro-Assad forces in the Kurdish areas to either defect from this regime and withdraw peacefully, or they will be forced to leave against their will,” the statement read.

The UKCC statement also called on the Kurdish people to preserve all the government institutions and secure them from any damage, “because these are the property of the people, and all the neighbourhoods should be regularly protected by the Kurdish Popular Protection Units.”

Sherzad Yezidi, representative of the People’s Council of West Kurdistan in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, told Asharq Alawsat that liberating these Kurdish areas could be considered the first step of implementing the agreement signed last month between the Kurdish National Council [KNC] and the Democratic Union Party [PYD].

“All the Kurds are waiting for the liberation of Qamishli city, since it is the largest Kurdish city in Syria and it is considered as the political and administrative capital of the Kurdish region in the Syria, only then we will be able to breathe freedom in Syria’s Kurdistan,” Yezidi said.

As the Syrian regime started to lose control on many towns and neighbourhoods across the country, a number of Kurdish areas live in a state of partial liberty.

The Kurdish town of Kobane, northeast of Aleppo, was declared free of Syrian security forces on Wednesday, and the residents raised the Kurdish flag on different government buildings.

The Liberation of Kobane was declared by the joint forces of the Popular Protection Units – founded recently by the KNC and the PYD. Leaders of both groups said they would be responsible for maintaining order and protecting the lives of residents in Kurdish neighbourhoods.

Fawzi Shangal, the leader of the Kurdish Accord Party in Syria told Rudaw that the city of Amude and Efrin fell on Friday and they expect more areas to be liberated within hours.

Shangal said that the Kurdish cities fell without any major clashes. The forces of the Assad regime withdrew from the area, he said.

Hussein Kocher, representative of the PYD in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, told Asharq Alawsat newspaper on Friday that the liberation of Kobane was achieved when members of the security forces surrendered to Kurdish forces.

“As our joint Kurdish forces surrounded the governmental and security buildings, security forces had to choose either confrontation or surrender. They preferred to avoid any confrontations with our Kurdish forces, and they left the town,” Kocher said. “We are glad that the process of liberating Kobane is achieved peacefully without any bloodshed, and that is exactly what we were insisting since the beginning of the revolution--to avoid any clashes with the forces of the regime in the Kurdish region.”

Meanwhile, Kurdish activists reported on Friday that Qamishli—the largest Kurdish city in Syria—began to seize parts of the city from the Syrian government forces and raise the Kurdish flag.
