whether we like it or not SK uses the Sorani Script, and all schools and Unis are taught in this script, if a greater kurdistan happens then yes a latin one will be printed until then the currency of SK will be in Sorani script.

5 million kurds in SK use the "Sorani script" it is not Arabic its is Sorani and 6.8 kurds in EK also uses this script, while NK and WK use the Latin only.

this is not so important dear, you should be worried about PYD refusing to use the Kurdistani flag in WK .

i agree it should be latin but that will not happen until a unified kurdish script is formed.

NK and WK must respect and recognize SK and EK flag and Sorani script and not call the script "Arabic" then we can too call latin script "ataturk" script.

instead we should work on a unified script but refrain from calling Sorani script "arabic" script which i find quite disrespectful to be honest.

Yeah, but it is also nowhere near the Arabic alphabet. First of all the system is TOTALLY different. The Arabic alphabet is an "abjad style" alphabet, meaning that vowels are not written like the Latin alphabet. Whereas the Kurdish alphabet is a "true" alphabet, meaning that the vowels are mandatory. Therefore, the Kurdish alphabet is closer to the Latin alphabet than the Arabic alphabet (as the systems are totally different). Not to mention that we have MANY letters which the Arabic alphabet doesn't have and vice versa (f.e. the "o", which the Arabic alphabet doesn't have. Or the "ط" which we don't have).

Also, the letters that are SOMEWHAT alike are written differently. For example, we write the î like this: ى, whereas in the Arabic alphabet it is written like this: ي.

It's pure ignorant if NK Kurds call Sorani script Arabic only bcoz they look "similar" ?? Well then we can too call Latin script Turkish bcoz it looks "similar" to it as well, so from now on I suggest my northern brothers refrain from saying that

no, the sorani script is a kurdified version of the arabic script and the kurmanci script is the kurdified version of latin script.
not turkish, latin. the turkish script is the turkified version of latin script.

latin was the language of rome empire, not turkey

what we need is a unified kurdi-latin script

and about PKK/PYD, dont worry, they are heroes and freedomfighters, not traitors, no matter wish flag they use
