Studying Kurdish

PostAuthor: goberope » Sun Nov 17, 2013 8:16 pm

Hello Everyone,
I'm an American student taking Turkish and Kurdish courses in Istanbul right now. In February, I will complete my Turkish classes and after that I am very interested in continuing my Kurdish studies at a more rapid rate. I have heard that there are institutes where you can study Kurdish in places like Diyarbakir, Şanlıurfa, Erbil, or Suleymaniye, but up until now I have not been able to find information about them online (most of the institutes don't seem to have websites). Does anyone have any information about some of these institutes? I would like to move to Turkish or Iraqi Kurdistan in the spring to continue studying Kurdish (either Sorani or Kurmanci). Thanks in advance for your help!

Mardin university has a Kurdish department. I don't know if you are searching only private courses in institutes, but they might inform you ?
