Muslim and christians..are the same?

I heard some people that say muslim and christian are the same..There is one God..but muslims name Alah and christian God....and there are no diferences...

so, what do you think?

I think, they come from the same rooth, as u know christians use Bible, and muslims Quran, and u can find lot of same concepts, or thinkings, but as always... humanity change real meaning of love, and day by day build more differences between them.

I think, if the goal is believe in something. in both religions we can find "faith". If u r focus on traditions, then u will find lot of differences, like Ramadan an Pascua, differences, about prophet hierarchy, etc.

Like Sus said, christianity, judaism and islam all roots them self from the same region and background. They are so called "sibling religions". For an example, Jesus is the most qouted prophet in the quran. And as a muslim, if there's no mosque available, you can pray in a church or synagogue as well, because it's still "The house of God".

But like Sus also said, people choose what to believe and alter with what they consider to be "right".

It's the way people interpret the Islam and Christanity.

Most people look at the differences, while the similarities are always ignored.

For example:
Muslims & Christians both believe in 1 God.
Muslims & Christians both have a place of Worship (Mosque/Church)
Muslims & Christians both pray (Christians pray before eating etc.)
They both have a book of Worship
etc.

If people didn't look so grey on these facts, they would see the blurr line disappear. ^^

they are not the same now but are from the same root as its been mentioned before.
Us muslims believe in jesus as a prophet while christians believe he is the son of God. this is where we differ

in Islam we believe the 4 books which also includes the original bible.
All this means that Islam originated from christianity.
