no the agreement was to raise Kurdistan flag ONLY but PYD is breaking the Hawler agreement already, and KNC has confirmed this on Rudaw Kurdish.

PKK/PYD has been the dominating power in Western Kurdistan for a long time and We should all support them and work with them to the end . KNC is to be admired and respected , but they have very limited power and very limited resources .

PYD is not PKK, the PYD is close to the PKK but the PYD is a other party with a own Flag and a own leader.

Its like the KNC, which is close to the KRG, but it is not the KRG.

Alan is right, they must use only the Kurdish flag on official buildings, not party flags, its a symbol of unity.

PYD is actually dominant in Erfin mainly, in Qamishlo been close to KRG and have the HQ of KNC , KNC is dominant but the PYD has moved to liberate Qamishlo alone undermining the KNC, i am just worried about civil war or the FSA/turks attacking WK for their own agenda using PKK as an excuse, if keeping WK safe using the Kurdistan flag and letting KNC taking care of most matters i dont see what the issue is here !!

Bexwa heval based on what I hear from Western Kurdistan KNC is not doing much and can not do much due to lack of resources including Peshmergas . You know what happend to the KNC peshmergas and how it was dissolved by KRG after few months of training .

PKK have sent thousands of Peshmergas to Western Kurdistan and months ago and I'm talking about highly trained and Hard core ones . They have taken over majority of the cities that they dominate and they should be allowed into Qamisho and Hasaka too by KNC , because syrian regime will not leave so easily .KNC wants to take credit which is fine , but they should combine their efforts if they want to succeed in throwing the regime out .

Alan is right.

Basically, the only flag should be raised is the Kurdistan flag. When raising the kurdish flag, it shows our enemies that we are united under one flag from south, west, east, and north. Flag is very sensitive issue.
